Bwv Distance

HOW FAR IN WALKING DISTANCE ARE THE BWV FROM THE REGULAR HOTEL. WANT TO KNOW BECAUSE WE MAY USE POINTS TO GET A STUDIO AND THEN GET A STANDARD ROOM FOR PARENTS. THANKS

It really depends on where your room is in both the BWV and the BWI. You could end up a short walk from the elevator to each room with only the lobby in between or you could end up far away from the elevators and quite a distance from each other. I think the key is to request to be near the elevators for each room.

BWV and BWI are in the same building - they share a lobby - the lobby is in BWV.

so not far - it just depends upon where your room is vs theirs.

Just wanted to add (in case you didn't already know) that the BWI and BWV share the same lobby/front desk. You will not need to go outside to get between the rooms, although as HBC posted, your rooms could end up being quite a distance apart.

You could be at complete opposite ends of the building (one of you near the ESPN Club and one of oyu near Jellyrolls) or you could be relatively close.

Request rooms in each place near the elevator, and you should be relatively close.

Sounds like a good idea to me, you can always meet in the lobby. Even if you book them a studio at BWV, there is no guarantee the rooms will be close together.

can I ask why not points for both?

BWV has dedicated studios - so if you are lucky you might get them next to each other.

if you don't have enough points for both - you can rent points on this site - probably for a much better rate than renting a room from WDW.

You could also check availability on a cash reservation for a BWV studio for your parents. Cost may be the same as for a standard room, but the accommodations may work as well or better: queen bed and (sleeper) sofa along with the kitchenette in the studio versus two queen beds in the the hotel room. For just a couple who will not need the second bed, the studio may be a good choice.

anything you can get a BWI you can also get at BWV - room service, valet parking, bell services, etc.

if that is a worry.
