BW will share with Swan/Dolphin or go to Swan/Dolphin then YC then BC then BW ( the route may be different ) I'm staying at the BW Inn this weekend, I'll report back with how the buses were.
For Epcot or MGM you either walk or take the boat.
MK: usually shared with S/D and stops at BW first when going and last when returning. Sometimes also shared with YC/BC like during times of day when passenger load is light.
AK: usually share with S/D and YC/BC and stop at BW first when going and last when returning; during day also stops at Blizzard Beach both going and returning.
Downtown Disney: same as above for AK except daily water park stop is Typhoon.
We usually have a car and just drive to AK or DD because it is a much faster trip.
After sitting through many bus stops at the different resorts, we found it was very easy to get off at either Swan or Dolphin when it was the first return stop (I can't remember which comes first). Anyway, just walk behind the bus stop and along a path that goes to the left. There is a bridge that leads right to the boardwalk.
Thats what we do on the return... get off at the Swan and walk around the back side of the resort then up the stairs at the BWV. Save easily 15 - 20 mins
Yep, when the bus bypasses BW, Swan will be the first stop. Get off, walk through the short lobby, on the same level unlike Dolphin, hang a right and stroll to BW.
I am back, the BW bus shared with Swan/Dophin for MK
For downtown it varied, according to some Swan/Dolphin people I spoke with:
the bus before ours was BC/YC only yet ours did all 5.
Downtown was a 20 min wait.
Also it seems that the Swan/Dolphin people are upset that BW is picked up first and that sometimes the wait was 40 min to MK.
I urged them to write/complain to Starwood if they were unhappy.
Both the Bus and Boat drivers suggested getting off at Dolphin and using the bridge by Jellyrolls.
I Agree-- considering this is a DELUXE HOTEL!!! Why pay $400-$600 a night when IMO the All Stars have better bus service. This was the only negative of my first DVC trip (except those endless hallways ).
I was in room 4001 so we used the S/D bus and boat often. It was a shorter walk. But climbing up 4 flights of stairs at the end of the day was a killer.
