BWV add-on - DVC guide deadline

I got a message yesterday from my guide that add-on points are available for BWV, but that I would have to let her know by tonight (4/30) if I was interested. What's up with the short deadline? Is it a quick sales tactic or what?

I've only been a member since 2002. This is the first time I've been contacted for add-on points. I haven't requested any so I was surprised to get the message. Is it normal to have such a short deadline to respond?

BWV points won't be available to the general public until June 1...maybe she meant May 30?

Aha! Got an answer. The guide said that I do have til 5/30, but because I have an Aug use year, I would have to commit by today to retain full banking ability for the points. I did not know the points added would take on the same use year as my original contract.
