Yay
Syko, looks like you've been very productive. I'm glad to hear things are getting back on track for your training and racing. Oh, and that sounds rather scary about getting bumped by other racers.

That seems like it should be illegal. Is there any kind of penalty for doing that?
Allie, nice job finishing the 5k and also getting your 5 miles in despite the rainy conditions. So far I've never had to run in the rain (one of the perks of living in Phoenix), and I'm hoping my luck holds because running in wet, squishy shoes does not sound like fun.
Casey, I hope you had a great race. Did you end up going to the parks over the weekend? I tried the Monte Cristo at the Blue Bayou on Sunday after the race and it's suprising how the jelly actually enhances the flavor of the sandwich.
It felt very humid during the 5k on Saturday, so I was pleasantly surprised by the weather during the 1/2 on Sunday. I think I made it to about mile 11 before the sun came out. Out of the 6 1/2 marathons I've done so far (this year!) I think the
Disneyland 1/2 was my favorite. The only thing I would wish for is more characters on the course, especially at the end.
