Buzz Lightyear assault?

Has anyone else heard of the Buzz Lightyear at Disneyland being assaulted by a guest for not doing anything when they said, "Andy's coming!" ?
I read about it on Tumblr, so I'm not sure if it's true or not. Just wanting to know if anyone has some outside-of-Tumblr confirmation on this
Either way, this whole "Andy's coming!" thing is getting wayyy out of hand.

Yep it really is. I can't believe this went somewhat viral. Even worse are the in-depth conversations there have been about it. But hey, that's the internet...

If I were in charge of Character interactions over at the parks, I'd remove all Toy Story Characters from the mix for a month. It's a shame for the kids/folks who aren't being stupd, but this stuff needs to end. The internet ruins everything.

I saw the post on Tumblr going around that mentions the Buzz Lightyear assault and that "Andy's Coming" is being shouted out so much that it's ruining all Toy Story interactions and the characters, their attendants, photopass photographers, and management are beyond fed up with it and are considering removing the Toy Story characters from the parks for anywhere between 3-6 months if it doesn't let up soon. But this post on tumblr that had almost 55k reblogs when I last checked last night doesn't list a source, just a friend that works in entertainment.

Yikes, I'm glad we met Woody and Buzz in Feb. Shame about the people ruining it for everyone.

This is such a shame! The Andy's Coming thing is ridiculous. I remember one day on facebook it was blowing up my feed! I came on here the same day and there were like 30 postings! I thought they were supposed to just totally ignore it, but I guess it isn't helping? We never did find Woody or Buzz last year and were really hoping to meet them this year, I hope it doesn't get to that point!
