I'm hoping you all know the answer because I was on the phone with BWV this morning and can't get an answer.

I want to use the Military tickets that my brother was going to get us for a lot less money, but they are telling me I can't activate these at the International Gateway because there's no Guest Relations there. And I know my brother, who is the active military personnel, has to be with us. I activated my annual passes there 2 years ago. Did they change this? They are saying I have to go to the front of the park to do that. Well how do I get there if I'm staying at the BW? I don't want to go over to HS to do it either because I'm not planning to go there the first day. That would be a waist of my time.

Has anyone used the Military Companion tickets at the International Gateway for the first time and had them activated there? They are making this way more complicated than it has to be.

If you can't activate the military companion ticket at the IG then we will buy regular park hopper tickets. Can you buy those at the concierge desk and have them ready to use when you arrive at the park? Or do you still have to go to the guest relations at the front of the park?

TIA for any info.

While I don't know anything about the Military tickets, I do know that I have purchased DVC APs at the small Guest Relations window at the IG.

Maybe others will chime in, but if worse came to worse, I would take a cab to the front entrance of Epcot. I'll bet the savings in tickets would be more than the cost of the cab ride.

the military companion ticket is $99 for the non park hopper and you can add the hopper part to it for $25 more this ticket is good for 5 days and when we used it last week we went to guest relations at MK but if you can buy tickets at International gateway I don't see why you can't get those activated you must purchase those tickets in advance at a either a military MWR or at shades of Green but the savings was worth any extra time it took-- remember the military member must be there to activate the tickets and also he must have id for all the tickets he has. Have fun

Thanks for your replies.

Has anyone activated military or regular park hopper tickets at the International Gateway?
