We're just in the beg stages of planning our FIRST familiy Disney vaca. We're going to be visiting inlaws in Venice, FL (near Tampa), in late Sept/early Oct (wanted to try and go this spring but it was too hectic w/ them trying to close the house up while they return to PA for an April 8th closing on their new house there).

Anyways...I'm pricing out hotels and resorts now....don't want to pay too much bec I doubt we'll be spending much time in our actual rms.

So far I have Grosvenor Disney Hotel and Buena Vista Suites as my two front runners for choices ($85/$89 per night respectively).

My question is, I'm thinking of buying the one day/one park pass - buying 3 days worth - so 3 single one day passes. I would hate to think that I'd actually have to stand in line at the park entrance for these tickets, do hotels usually sell them at their front desk!?! Is this even a possibility. I've done enough research in the last few days to realize that unless you're getting hopper tickets, you cannot order them in advance.

Thanks for any/all info.

the front desk only sells park hoppers and ultimate magic passes. and even then only at a disney resort. but if you sign up for the mousesavers newsletter ( www.mousesavers.com ) sometimes ticketmania will have 3 day park hoppers for sale.

Thank you Angela for taking the time to post a reply. I'll sign up for the newsletter and see if they put the 3day hopper on sale sometime.

S

If you don't find the 3 day hoppers, you can get the one day tickets at Guest Relations in DD as well as at the parks. If you know for sure you want three of them and they are all for one person, consider getting the 3 day/3 park ticket. It will save you $10 plus tax over the price of three one day tickets. You can also get the 3D/3P ticket at Guest Relations.
