buying points

hi all

can anybody help...

can i buy points from other dvc members and transfer them to my account,
has anybody done this, and is it hard????

As I understand it, yes it is possible.

I have never done this, but have read some posts about it on the US DVC board and it sounds not exactly hard, but........well, maybe slightly tricky to ensure you get it right ....... because there are limits on the number of times you can do this per year (I think).

Hi! We've just "borrowed" points from another DVC member. It was very striaghtforward. They phoned member services and made the transfer into our account - and we sent them the money!! I checked with member services, and the borrowed points were there the following day.
