Buying Park Tickets

Hi all!
We just returned from the Disney Store with the hopes of purchasing 3 7-day "Magic Your Way w/ Park Hopping" tickets. We were told by the cashier (who was the assistant manager) that we would be better of checking online or buying the tickets actually at Walt Disney World than at the Disney Store. She said that she felt bad selling tickets from the Disney Store that were up to $50.00 more than the price of tickets at Walt Disney World.

This made us think - what do we do? We didn't purchase the tickets, but of course I had to ask a question on the DIS. Canadian DISers where do you buy your park tickets? At the Disney Store? Online? At the gate?

The current price online is $304.59US for the 7 day PH for 10 years and up. What price did they quote you?

We usually get tickets along with our package when we book either online or by phone.

I use Undercovertourist.com - if you subscribe to mousesavers.com newsletter, you get an additional discount in the monthly email. They mail your passes to you and the tickets work without a problem.

She said it was $368.55 at the Disney Store tax included. We were thinking of bringing cash and buying them at the gate to avoid the Visa interest rate

Canadian DISers where do you buy your park tickets? At the Disney Store? Online? At the gate?

At the highest recommendation of my D-Brother, he encouraged us to buy 10-day non expiry tickets. We were at MK for only 1 day preceeding our last DCL cruise, so we still have 9 days left on it. Regardless of how much gate fees increase, they are good for 10 entries (No matter how old your child gets over 16!).
We've locked our passes into our safe for future use. Even if we don't use them within the next 10 years, our kids can use them later. In the long run, it saves a lot of $$$.
All in all, buy them at your Disney resort (cash or visa) and enjoy the trip!

Hi I think if you buy offsite, Disney store, CAA or online stores like Undercover Tourist you can avoid the 6.5% Florida sales tax. We used Undercover Tourist last March and they were cheaper then the gate prices.

I either buy them from WDW if I'm getting a package or use Undercover tourist if I am doing a room only.
