Buying milk for toddler in DLR?

Milk is available at all restaurants and counter service food counters scattered throughout the park. I know for a fact you can get milk at the bakery on Main Street.

My best tip for getting milk IN the parks, is to go to a character breakfast buffet (like Minnie & friends). It is an all you can eat buffet, including drinks. They serve the bottled milk which was a wonderful surprise. My kids hardly ate, so we loaded up on milk to make up the difference.

Just bring in a little insulated lunch box or cooler (that you can even leave in a locker with ice packs in it) so you can store milk. You can buy more than one milk at a time anywhere else, and just keep what your DS does not drink stored so that you always have some on hand, just in case. Both DS2 and DS3 drink milk like crazy, especially when we were there!

I would also recommend bringing in an empty clean cup with you in the mornings, in case you loose the first one or it gets dirty and you don't have time to rinse it clean.

The Horizon Milk Cartons that don't need to be refridgerated were a god send for me and my boys. You can buy them at Starbucks, single serve for about $2 each, but we've bought them from Amazon. Honestly, they don't taste any different imho.

You can find them at Whole Foods in 6 packs as well, and probably some other grocery stores. Though I bet Amazon is cheaper!

They reccomend whole milk until the age of 2. Under the age of 2 they still reccomend whole milk unless the child is at risk for obesity. That said you are probably right that a few days of 2% wouldn't hurt.

The whole milk recommendation is because babies need a lot of fat for brain development occurring at this age. I agree, some 2% for a few days won't matter much, especially if the OP will have whole milk at the hotel.

My boys even now at ages 8 and 4 drink (almost exclusively) milk or water, and we had no trouble at all getting milk at the park restaurants/counter services.

We buy these at Costco by the case, they're much cheaper! We initially bought them as treats for our boys because they were so pricey at Starbucks, but when DS started kindergarten and kept forgetting to bring home his lunchbox with the milk thermos in it (phew!), I figured it was cheaper to send a chocolate milk in his lunch rather than buying a new thermos every few weeks.

Not sure if there is a Costco near Anaheim, though...
