Buying e-ride tixs w/AP voucher???

Here's the scenario: DH & I will be arriving at the Poly on Sat the 17th and would like to get tixs to e-ride that night. At this point in time we have not purchased our APs yet. I had posted a thread on the Budget Board about buying them in advance and there was no "benefit" for me to do this, so I was going to buy them at the park entrance. Our hotel rate is not connected to AP rates so that wouldn't normally matter at check-in.

But since we want to attend the e-ride, I wonder if they will sell us the tixs even though we wouldn't technically have the APs at that point in time? Should we just go get the APs vouchers here at TDS and have those in hand when we check-in?

Any advice would be great! TIA!!

They don't ask to see your park pass when they sell you the enight ticket.

You purchase the e night ticket at your resort then when you go to the Magic Kingdom for enight you check in at Town Hall where you present your park pass and e night ticket and they give you a bracelet.

I love enights.

Thanks for the info. In the past my DH has already gone up to buy the tixs the day of the e-ride night so I didn't know if they ask for ticket "proof". I keep reading this on the wdwig boards:

Offer good only for Disney Resort Guests with the following multi-day tickets: Ultimate Park Hopper, Park Hopper Plus, Park Hopper, Seasonal Pass, Annual Pass, Premium Annual Pass.

Then I wonder "how do they know at the resort if you have an PAP or any other type of pass if they don't ask for proof?"

Perhaps I should just head on over to TDS and get our vouchers......
