Buying alcohol for cruise

Sorry, I took so long to answer. Yes, we did use them along with others on our cruise. I found out about them via a cruise group we had set up.
Where did you pick up the delivery? Or was it actually delivered to the ship (in your room)?

People have open bottles left at the end? Sounds like some people aren't doing it right! Just kidding. We keep our receipts for everything we embarked with, and what we bought on board. We only declare that which we purchased on the trip. I Have not had a customs agent ask us to produce the bottles for inspection or look in our bags.

Just don't walk off the ship with agriculture products. This includes plant life, fruit, veggies, or anything else organic. There is a steep fine for it and have seen collection points for it incase you 'forgot' to throw it away.

I have my own alcohol policy. We have been on 9 Disney Cruises and have stayed at the resorts several times. We bring a bottle of wine, bottle of vodka and bottle of rum. My wife likes vodka and water with lime. I get the lime at the bar. I'll just drink rum and coke or mix vodka with juice. Nobody questions nor would I care if any "high and mighty" people look at me funny. I would find the people that would question this to not be people I would associate with anyway. We do tend to purchase a bottle of wine at Palo and we do buy beer and the drink of the day.

We flew in too late and just brought a couple of boxes of wine with us.

The delivery was to be made to me at the port before boarding the ship. However due to me mixing up dates they actually delivered it to us at the hotel we stayed at the evening prior to our cruise. They were very accommodating. In the future I would probably opt to have it delivered the day before like it was. Made it very easy to pack and just take with us to the ship.

I like Malibu and Diet Coke or you can use crystal light type drink packets of fruit punch and mix with Malibu. Yummy. I personally prefer Malibu (or Parrot Bay or other coconut rum) to regular rum. That tends to be my drink of choice especially when you have access to coke/diet coke.

WDW sells wine on site. I purchased 4 bottles of Once Upon A VINE, dusney brand. You can get it at the WDW hotel stores. I purchased ours from the Contemporary Hotel and Port Orleans Riverside. Packed it un my carry-on and took it on board. Salut!

Do you know if they carry the Once Upon A Vine bubbly on board? If not I will have to find this before I sail!

Not that I've seen, and we're fans of some of their wines. I've actually never seen Once Upon a Vine offered at any Disney property other than the bottles for sale at DTD/DS. I've found it in Louisville, KY, of all places since our last trip. Iron Horse Fairytale (which is actually Iron Horse Wedding Cuvee) is available onboard, though.

I was just there in March and tg e y are offered in the small grocery/souvenir shop in the Contemporary resort. I also found them at Riverside Port Orleans gift shop. ♡

I always carry on a liter each of ginger ale (a natural anti-emetic) and rum for our 3-night cruise. On our last trip our room host was constantly forgetting to refill our ice bucket, so I had a half bottle of rum that I was too nervous to take off the ship.

I am thinking that getting your alcohol delivered to your hotel is the best option! ... prices are fair for what I can see. A bottle of Whiskey and all the beer we can fit in the carrt on!

I packed 2 bottles of liquor in my luggage. I wrapped them in bubble wrap and pull-ups (I had some leftover after potty training) and then I packed them in an XL ziploc bag.
I put them in my checked luggage going down to MCO (we flew in the night before) and then moved them to my carryon.

I used to carry wine in my checked bags. But I dislike checking bags so much I've resorted to catching a cab to the nearest grocery store once I'm at my destination. If I could pay for a delivery to our pre-cruise hotel that would be even better. But then again, because I'm a finicky about my wine selection I may just take a taxi.

Most Cape Canaveral hotels are within walking distance of a liquor store, if you don't mind walking a mile or so. Cape Canaveral Liquors is only 1.1 miles from the Residence Inn, which is one of the farthest north hotels you can get on Astronaut Blvd.
