Buying a resale question?

Hi Everyone: I know that Disney has a ROFR, but if a contract is asking say $70 per point what kind of price are they being offered and getting? I know this is a tough question, but you are really good at answering tough questions. Thanks.

It should depend on the resort and other particulars of the contract.

If it's at VB, with all points used for 2003 and all points borrowed for 2004- it might not get an offer above $60.

If it's at VWL, with a December Use Year and all points from 2002 banked and all points from 2003 available- $70 might not make it thru ROFR.

Each offer should be considered on all of it's merits/faults, IMHO.

There is no "one-size-fits-all" with a resale.
