Buy from DVC or Resale??

having done both the bottom line is if you can afford to pay it up front go for the resale............if not and need financing go DVC...........by the way given the 50 yr deal, and now that points are 95 each, buying a SSR resale for 77 to 79 dollars a point is a no brainer............ it makes way too much sense to go resale but i bet they will be hard to come by.

Our computer was down the last few days so I wasn't able to post but we did decide to but 160 points direct from DVC!!!!!!! I am so excited that I finally convinced DH to do this. I have already made our firts reservation for 4 nights for a studio at BCV for this June. DD and I are really excited to finally be able to swim at SAB!!!

Thanks for all the good insights into the different points of view! If and when we add points I would probably be more willing to try resale.
