I did a courtesy booking with the buy 3 get 2 free at BW Stovalls with 5 day hoppers for 3 of us at 938 today. It seemed liked a great deal but I haven't used ART before.

I am still thinking Del Sol or Anaheim Plaza without the package may be much closer and more inexpensive.

Ugh decisions decisions.

I used ART for the first time last summer, and it worked out fine for me. :thumbsup2 In fact, i actually preferred walking to the ART pickup area (in front of Disneyland) & then getting on a bus at the end of the day, rather than doing a walk (even across the street...any walk can seem very long at the end of the day if you've been in the Park from open to close in the summer ).

I've not stayed at the Del Sol, but I have stayed at both Stovall's and Anaheim Plaza many times. Anaheim Plaza is closer (about a 10 minute walk to the Park), but IMO, Stovall's is more comfortable. Here are some pics of the newly remodeled room I stayed in during a family trip last summer:

The beds are SOOOO much more comfortable than the beds at Anaheim Plaza! Also, breakfast is included at Stovall's. While Anaheim Plaza may be less expensive, I myself am willing to pay a few extra $s for a comfortable bed + convenient breakfast. Not that there's anything wrong with the Anaheim Plaza...the rooms are large & clean (though in need of an update...the beds are like sleeping on rocks!), the pool is HUGE, and the grounds are well maintained.

Thanks for the great info and pictures. It does look nice. I did WDW last year and you had to ride the bus and it was nice not to have to walk. But I also like just going accross the street for quick breaks.

we used ART for the first time just a few weeks ago in mid October during all the big crowds. We never had a problem with being able to get on a bus, even near closing. We stayed at the La Quinta on Clementine and it worked great.
We have stayed at the Del Sol and the Dessert Inn in the past. Ok but nothing fancy. When we go to DL we are looking for an inexpensive room that is clean...decent beds, and a shower. Anything more than that is a perk.
Art worked great for us, busses were pretty much on schedule, and the La
Quinta, while nothing special was fine for us and the room was pretty big of a regular room.

Walking across the street to your hotel at the end of the day of mid day for a swim or rest is nice, but riding ART was no big deal either. And we did go back in the middle of the day for a rest and an offsite bite to eat each day.
