As Promised- my Epcot dining list!
We tend to go back to places we've already been to before- DH really watches what he eats (No fried food, no fast food, low carbs), so we are sort of limited as to what he will eat and where.
And so-- here is where we have eaten before:
Future World
Counter Service--
Electric Umbrella - we only ate here once a long time ago, and weren't impressed too much. It may be better now. It has burgers and nuggets. Used to have a toppings bar for the burgers but is now gone. We often get nuggets To Go for my picky DD to eat.
Sunshine Seasons - Our favorite CS in Epcot. We like it so much, in fact, that on the last day of our last trip, we cancelled an ADR for Le Cellier and went here instead. It's especially good for a group who has different ideas of what they want to eat. DH ususally gets Sushi, I order the Rotisserie Chix or a salad and the kids usually share a sandwich.
Table Service--
Garden Grill -The only TS restaurant we've done in Future World. Eaten here twice- once without the kids and once with. The positives here are that the Character interaction was really really good, and the whole restaurant spins while you eat, overlooking scenes from Living with the Land. The food is just so so but I did like the fried catfish.
World Showcase:
Counter Service--
Cantina de San Angel- They have churros!

This is an okay place, if you want some Mexican grub and are short on time and/or cash. Not too expensive- plus- did I mention they have churros????

Great place to watch Illuminations.
Espresso Coffee & Pastries - Coffee fix, when you're on the UK side of the World.
Refreshment Port - McDonald's fix, Chicken nuggets and fries! Great for picky kids who know Mickey D's!
Kaki Gori- Snow Cones in Japan--- so great on a hot hot day in May! I like the Strawberry, DH likes the rainbow.
Boulangerie Patisserie -- France-- dessert. It is a must do for us every trip at least one night after dinner. The Creme Brulee is sooo good! Other desserts are great as well. We've never had anything bad here and enjoy sitting outside as it gets dark, watching the people shop around- just like being in an outdoor cafe in France.
Table Service--
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall - Had breakfast with the Princesses. My Belle met the real Belle and everyone was mesmerized.

The Princesses we saw that day were Belle in her yellow gown, Aurora, Mulan, Snow White, and Jasmine- who remembered my DD later in the afternoon and asked her if she enjoyed her breakfast and thanked her for coming to see her. Such a wonderful memory.
The food is good if you like breakfast- I remember the cinnamon rolls being the best thing there, the potato casserole was good as well.
Chefs de France -- one of my least favorite meals ever on property, about 4 years ago. The place is just gorgeous, our waiter was wonderful and attentive. The food was just not good. I ordered Salmon and they had poured olive oil all over it. I mean it was floating, there was so much oil. IDK why? The menu has changed since then and they don't even have that item on it anymore, so I'd be willing to try it again; Plus- Remy's there now, with his cute little rat self.
Le Cellier Steakhouse - We've had both lunches and dinners here. Both times have been very good. We always get the filet for dinner. For lunch I've gotten the Grilled Steak Salad. DH also likes their Ceasar salad. The Creme Brulee here is very very good as well. The only negative I've ever found with this restaurant is that you are crammed in there next to people, like they are an extension of your party. I like my personal space, lol. A positive has always been- for us-- the wait staff is very attentive to my picky DD and gone above and beyond in trying to find something she will eat, including having the chef make her scrambled eggs a few times. (They were the best eggs my $12 could buy!!!

Yes- that's what I was charged.)
Nine Dragons- Another disappointing meal. We ate there before they had their refurb a few years ago, so what we ordered is no longer on the menu. It was bad enough that I don't know if we'd go back, and we love Chinese food. The wait staff didn't want to give us any of what we requested and it was just a bad experience all the way around. We ended up eating again two hours later-- we were still hungry b/c we didn't eat our food.
I don't know how it has been since the refurb- I'd love to hear about it if anyone has eatent here since then.
San Angel Inn - Ahhh, what can I say? We are traditionalists. I have eaten at this restaurant once on every trip. It's not the food that we go for- it is just so-so to us and we have said upon leaving many times, "We won't go back next year". But it's a tradition and we continue to go. I have heard that it is a bit better since they revamped it a year ago, so we will see. It gets my vote as a wonderfully romantic place. Ask to sit by the water- tell them you'll wait b/c it's worth it.
And so that's my list. Thanks for reading.
Please share you experiences with all of us as well- we all learn by hearing others opinions!
Have a great day
Up tomorrow-----
