Just been informed that I'm going to Runcorn on Monday and then down to Greenford in Middlesex on Tuesday for two days!

Means I'll be away from home the night of my youngest DDs birthday :(

Sorry to hear your missing your youngest daughters birthday Tim, you will just have to spoil her even more :) Runcorn is only a few miles from us  Were in Warrington.

Oh no Tim :(

I hate it when work gets in the way. Do you have to travel a lot?

What a shame it had to be DDs birthday night though :(

I sometimes go to a company called ATG in Lowton St Mary's near Warrington :)

That's a shame Tim. I will be away from home all of next week too (on a course in Sandbanks). I don't feel as if I'm recovered enough from my jet lag to be going back to work but, never mind. Also means I'll miss 6 days of the quiz too - so it will be November before I can see a full quix through from start to finish.

I'm actually looking forward to having a job where I don't have to travel.

I sympathise with the rest of your family Tim ;) My DH is away at least 2-3 nights most weeks, then at shows for 2 weeks three times a year. And it always manages to fall on some special occasion or other, otherwise there are weddings he doesn't get to go to . . . . I could go on.

But it's his job, and thay pays a lot of the bills - and he loves it, so in the end we're all happy :flower:

Oops - meant to say Greenford. Wey hey, my old stomping ground. Spent my first 24 years growing up and living in West London (Ealing, Shepherds Bush, QPR fan see ;) ) and still have friends in Greenford.

Sadly not at all like when I grew up there :sad2: so I don't want to go back too often, find it very sad.

My brother-in-law's head office is now in Greenford so he commutes most days from Christchurch in Dorset, not an easy drive each day.

Have fun!

Arr that's a shame Tim, I'm sure you'll make up for it over the weekend :)

What a shame Tim ~ Sure you will make up for it when you return from your travels ;)

It's not fine when you miss out on things, but I'm sure she'll understand.
