Busy Day for Pentax-Three New Cameras

Most of the Pentax users had high hopes when Ricoh bought the company. It looks like our hopes are coming to fruition with the introduction of three new cameras. We now have a three tier DSLR camera selection, entry, mid and high end APS-C. The FF is still rumored for 2014.

I am going to give them until January for a K-5 replacement. The K-5II was not enough for me to buy into. If there is no replacement I will jump ship.

There is some talk about a 24mp camera, but I'm just not sold on that sensor. Personally, I like the 16mp sensor. I actually picked up a used K5(LN 568 actuations) after the II(s) came out and passed down one of my K10D's. What I would like to see is a new flash system and some new fast glass.

Yeahhhh, I don't think that would be such a good idea! I might not be allowed back in the garage area!!

I agree with Terry on the 16mp sensor, I had the Sony Nex 7 with 24mp and the noise was a lot worse at 3200. I actually like the look of the white K-30 myself. A better flash system would really be nice. After using Nikon's flash system, I was spoiled.
