Bush was right

I guess you would prefer he (and then his two nasty sons) stayed in power to continue to fill mass graves and starve his own people.

Ah, the liberal left, advocating for rape palaces!! And genocide by daddy, it doesn't get any better than this!

Maybe we should left him alone...

Nah.

I like it so much better when WE fill the mass graves and starved them with sanctions. That is OK with you, right??

Your delusions are truly grand!! Come on get off the couch....

Dawn, I fear that you may be unwittingly distorted in your mode of thought.

You assign less than favourable terms to people whose opinions are different from your own (self hating, self loathing).Rich::

Funny Richie, I see you in the unwitting distortion you cite. Allthough, you do try to come across as the uber intellect. For that, you actually lose ten points for being a poser.

To the OP: Thank you for posting this. It's what we all were thinking, anyway! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Let's start with your first assumption; "someone in a powerful position". You couldn't possibly be deluded into thinking that someone could be Algore? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: He is absolutely impotent, to the point where he is sadly becoming pitiful. If that is your premise, than everything else after that sentence is baseless.

Dawn I have to diasgree with you here, even if only slightly.

He is truly impotent and powerless in this country. But foreign nations don't know what we do about who he is and what he stands for. To them, he may seem to have power and influence.

And that is exactly why the loud mouth leaves the country to commit treason, to garner an audience that doesn't know any better and that will give him credibility.

Hmm. I don't think anyone in this country and abroad think much of Al Gore, with himself included.

Makes you wonder if some peope secretly wish Saddam was back in power.

Truly sad and unbelievable. :sad2: We liberate 25 million people and our own countrymen accuse us of outrageous crimes.

There appears to be more outcry against the the liberators than Saddam.

Our President and our allies were right and did what was right (and did not wait for the emasculated and corrupt UN's "blessing.") Praise God.

We Americans have progressed in the last few years and are now part of a greater whole – a collective if you like. As has been evidenced by the massive increase in the size of the federal government since Bush’s election in 2000, Americans no longer owe allegiance to anything other than this collective.

This is a great improvement in our lives. The collective does our thinking for us. Under the watchful eye of our “Illustrious Leader” George Bush, the only thing we have to worry about is how we can help the collective stay safe from those who would do it harm.

This is what Dawn is referencing when she points out the self-haters among us. Criticizing the Illustrious Leader is like criticizing a part of your own body. So disagreeing with the Illustrious Leader is the same as showing hate towards yourself. Remember, the Illustious Leader loves you and wants you to be happy. That’s why he is spying on us without approval from Congress. He’s only doing what’s best for the collective. The least we can do in return is keep our self-hating criticisms to ourselves.

How's the neighborhood Mr. Rogers???

I agree. We should just be an elite isolationist country and at the same time do all we can to tear our own country apart. Well, if there's a buck in it anyway. It seems perfectly plausible to me for this plan to work. No?

Or we could just continue to tolerate terrorist acts on our shores, then blame the government for not protecting us, right?

You're probably right. But he did have someone paying for the trip.

Edited to add: I think I'm caught up. Now back to your regularly scheduled liberal input from the all knowing left.

Since you are so postive of this from the comfort of your couch in NY, why has the CIA or NSA not contacted you???

I can only hope, maybe, we can get the President to put you on speed dial for all matters of international import.

Who would have thought, that we need only turn to a WDW fan from New York to solve all of the international mysteries that exist? Not me....

Yeah it's amazing isn't it? Here I am, no Rhodes scholar and I and millions of others KNEW there was no connection between Hussein and 9/11, knew he had no nukes, and knew he was no threat. Now tens of thousands of dead later this administation says oops, there was an intelligence failure. It was hardly an intelligence failure, it was a lie!

Can't believe you guys would grasp at that thin straw. :lmao: Besides, I know it should be front page news if Bush ever gets something right...but in this case (since that's not what actually happened), I think I can speak for all of the mainstream media when I say yeah...um...no.

Oh man, it's quotes like this that tell me that I can't wait for the next Presidential election that puts a Democrat into office. Then all of the republicans can point fingers at the democratic president and say "look what a terrible job he is doing! Look how he makes mistakes here. Look how he screws up there!!! Man, I hope he really didn't sleep with that intern."

Ooops. Sorry. That was the last democratic president - the one that was Impeached by the House. Sorry, I digress.

I just cannot wait.

As an aside - that's what makes this country great - that we can criticize our leader and not be worried about death squads coming and killing our entire family because we disagree.

Make up your mind. George Bush did NOT protect us on 9/11. So you do blame him, correct?

OK, you're no Rhodes scholar.

Who saying there was a connection between 9/11 and Hussein??

So you and millions of others absolutely knew Saddam and no nukes and was no threat?? Really. The people of his own country knew was a threat to his own people (for starters). For the 10's of thousands dead -- blame Saddam and the terrorists. (Do you blame the USA for the dead in WWII.)

Still going with the Bush LIED stuff, so sad.

Bush was right. Some will never give him credit.

I'm sorry, you missed the sarcasm.....

I really don't think we can afford to be isolationists. I do think we are obligated to address many of these international issues. It's the price we pay for being the world leader that we are. As well, I do think it truly reprehensbile at the way the left is trying to damage our country for their political gain.

And no, I don't blame President Bush for 9/11. I blame the terrorists and all who support them. Oh, and this inlcudes Saddam.

I guess the couch potato's of the world should be consulted first on matters of international security. Because every world intelligence organization had it pegged just as we did. And I don't think we were wrong.

I think the granola chewing, birkenstock wearing, bra burning, pro-abortion lovers(lets call it what it is), PETA joining, wheat germ drinking liberals have it wrong when it comes to these international matters.

From one couch potato to another, I don't agree. Isn't this country grand? :goodvibes
