Buses running when skyline running?

Just wondering if busses to Epcot and Hollywood studios still run during skyliner hours of operation? I think I read they used to run but were only every hour but I sort of remember they canceled that. Also, if skyliner is down due to bad weather is there an alert that goes to my Disney app telling us to use the busses?

When we were there June 2021, buses only ran to SL resorts when SL was down. The only alert was signs at the SL stations.

As @julie-o indicated above the SL has completely replaced bus service for SL resorts except when the SL service is unavailable due to mechanical issues or weather.

I don't believe there's any alert sent out with the Skyliner goes down. There was some potential thunderstorms looming during our trip and while they shut down the Skyliner for a period of time, I didn't get a notification about it. My brother was informed by cast members at the station that they were closing the Skyliner and would be sending buses to the station to assist with getting everyone where they were attempting to go.

I stayed at CBR last year. No alert but you can obviously tell that they’re not running. I just assumed they’d send buses around the resort loop but you have to get them from the Skyliner station so just head there anyway if necessary
