Buses from resorts to parks-are they round-trip?

If I get on the bus at BWV, will that bus eventually come back to BWV or does it go on a different route once it reaches the park? The reason I ask is that on my next solo trip, I'm thinking of taking the bus from BWV and just riding around for a while, seeing the sights of WDW, etc. (I know, that probably sounds wierd). So I want to make sure that if I get on the bus at BWV, I can get a round-trip, even if it doesn't come back right away, not a one way to someplace.

Sometimes the bus gets assinged to another route when they arrive at a park.

On several occasions I've noticed the front sign change after I've gotten off a bus at a park, so it's apparently something you can't count on.

So here's what you do -- take a bus to any park, and then just get on ANY other Disney Transport bus, and then go from that resort to a different park than you were just stopped at, etc. Just jump on whatever buses seem ready to leave so you won't have to wait!

I like doing a transport day, Busses, Boats, Monorail, get on one and ride to the end, then take the next one that comes along. Have fun.

You might also enjoy the boat ride fom BW to EPCOT and eventaully to MGM...lots of stops along the way...but quite a nice ride.

Bus service from BW leaves a lot to be desired....only 3 bus routes go by there....the best one for sightseeing might be the MK bus (you can get off at the MK and hop the monorail around the resorts, get off at the TTC and transfer to the EPCOT monorail...that is a great ride. Back at the MK you can also hop the little boats to Poly or GF or Contemporary....the little launches are lots of fun...from the CR you can take a great launch to Ft Wilderness and the Wilderness Lodge...another great ride)

When we were at BW the first week of August we never saw a bus that wasn't packed to the gills come by there...that coupled with the fact that buses frequently do NOT make round trips (and the driver will ask you to get off the bus at the park since they are not going back to your resort) is why I suggested some other alternatives for transportation.
