Absolutely...otherwise a "park hopper pass" would not have much value, but you will notice that WDW does not call it a "resort hopper pass" cause you can't hop from one resort to another.
WDW wants you at the parks, therefore hopping to other resorts would not do WDW any good. The only resort hopping you can do is on the monorail or over at the Epcot resorts or between CR and WL.
Keep this in mind is you are dining at another resort for dinner and have to find a way to get to that other resort.
