Buses at moderate resorts.

Which moderate resort has the best bus transportation? With our large party of children I need to be able to come and go through out the day easily.

They are all pretty much the same. CSR is a bit better than the others, as it is a convention resort, and many guests don't use the resort buses. However any resort can have times where the buses never seem to come, and times where the buses are standing room only.

Yup, what she said.

I agree with the previous posters. They are basically all the same.

We have stayed at POFQ twice and CBR once. The buses were pretty much the same at both.

The longest waits we have ever had were when we stayed at Beach Club. It must have just been a few bad days for the buses and I'm sure waits were just the same everywhere at that time.

Yup, what they said. No matter if you are in a value, moderate or deluxe your are going to have good days and bad days. No way of knowing.

We have stayed at all the moderates and CSR had better service in our opinion. That would not be our first pick as a resort, but if you are looking at bus service, that would be the one.

I had the best bus service at CSR. It has a great location (minutes from AK and DHS, close to Epcot too), which contributes to its better service.

If I had to pick the one that we have had the most good service, that would be CSR. Never had an issue and the central location is great. Spitting distance to three parks and right at the exit ramp to the road to MK.

We have also stayed at every moderate resort. My least favorite was CSR, but they had the absolute best bus service. We never waited more than 10 minutes at the resort, and possibly even less at the parks.

There isn't a single resort that has better bus service than another. I would not recommend choosing a resort based on the bus service.

Pretty much spot on, except for years ago when WL did not have the villas and did not share....OOOOOHHHH was that the dream. We rode busses by ourselves!

It's easy to see, when looking at a map of the whole property, why CSR has such good bus service. As previous posters mentioned, it is the most centrally located of the resorts, so it doesn't take as long for its buses to complete their routes. They can get back and forth to AK, HS, or Epcot much quicker than many of the others because they are so close.

Bus service is the same everywhere. So as stated above I would not base my decision on that at all.

I have stayed at them all and you have good and bad at each and really just the luck of your timing. Only difference is with riverside and French quarter as you can use the boat to go to Disney springs.

The only reason we are staying on Disney is so we don't have to drive to and from the parks. Our children are 2,5,5,6,14,17. So some will want to stay while others rest. I would much rather stay off site for a larger room.

What about POP century buses? I'm just worried about getting back to the resort at meltdown times.

POP Century is not a moderate. That said have stayed many times and never had ongoing issues with the buses. At opening and closing, as with any resort, you may have longer lines and packed buses and that all depends on how well Transportation is sending out buses.

The only time I really had a big complaint at POP was during BTG season if I were going to the same park as they were during "rush hour", am and pm. That would occur at all the values.

I don't choose a resort based on transportation but I also have the option to drive. I would choose which resort meets your needs and is in your budget.

And that is an excellent reason!

CSR has great bus service! We also had great luck at POFQ back in December since they have stopped sharing as often with Riverside. Both times we have stayed at POR the bus service was absolutely horrible. It is totally possible I just hit them on bad weeks, but I am leery to stay there again!
