Busch Gardens - anyone been there?

We will be going through Tampa and considered going. The admission based on their online deal right now will be approx $365 for family of four and that includes the meal deal. Is it worth it?

We went in June a few years ago. We had a really great time there. It wasn't very crowded at all. There were lots of rides. My kids were approx. 10 and 12 at the time and they loved it. There was lots of walking and by the end of the day our feet were killing us I would def. go back again next time we're down that way.

Is that for one day or two? They often run deals that for just a few dollars more than a one day ticket, you can get an annual pass.

We could easily spend two full days there. There are rides and shows.

For my family, the meal deal would not be worth it, but we aren't really big esters and can easily split meals and be happy.

We live in the Tampa area and love BG! We have a coaster kid and a no coaster one, and both find plenty to do and see. My kids are 12 and 14, and both still really enjoy time in Jungala climbing in the rope course and also in Sesame area playzone. We love the music shows as well. We have an annual pass and go several times a year, usually about every 6 weeks or so. We usually do get the all day dining deal when we go, as it is a cost savings to us. We do tend to arrive at opening, eat breakfast, lunch and supper on the plan, as well as stopping a couple times for "snacks", which may just be a bottled water and/or some fruit, or may be an order of fries, etc. We enjoy the animal exhibits and the animal care center, where you can observe the vets caring for the park animals, is really neat. Be warned it is a LOT of walking, definitely not a small park, but definitely a lot of fun.
