We are going the end of Sept/Oct. Staying at the AOA- we haven't really done the bus thing so wondering how early do they usually come and is the schedule usually the same? We have some reservations 8:10 for O'hana then the CP one day. Will the bus run that early?

Resort to park buses start running at about 6:30AM every day.

Be out at the bus stop by 7am for an 8:10 ADR. CP will be fine, O'Hana may require a bus change. Ask the driver how to get to the Poly. He may be able to drop you off.

Did you really mean to say that the trip from AoA to 'Ohana might require a bus change?

The route to 'Ohana from AoA would be a bus to MK, then the resort Monorail to the Poly.
(There is also a shuttle boat to the Poly from MK, but that would be a longer trip, stopping first at GF, then some extra walking after it finally docks at the Poly.)

But, yes, as you said, the OP should tell the MK bus driver when boarding at AoA that their party is going to the Poly for breakfast, and the bus driver may very well take them directly to the Poly before or after the MK stop.

:wave:Robo need help with walkway to Contemporary from resort bus stop at MK.
We're staying at Port Orleans French Quarter:woohoo: in October and where the bus lets you off at MK is there a shortcut to the path towards the Contemporary or do you have to walk all the way back towards the gates then get on the walkway to the Contemporary? The FQ bus is the last one in the lot but closest to the Contemporary so a shortcut would be great.

Thank You for your help

Back towards the MK gates is the only safe pathway.
Any other way would cross dangerous bus rights-of-way.

That's what i thought. Thank you clarifying that for me.:thanks:

:offtopic: Forgive me.... but i have another questions about FP+ for you ROBO.
If we have the hard ticket for MNSSHP and we want to go to AK 1st i know we can get FP+ for AK but will we be able to get another 3 FP+ for MNSSHP since it's a separate hard ticket:scratchin

Thank You again:wave:

Where the busses stop has little bearing on where you came from. Some times a bus will drop of AoA guests but pick up AKL guests so the bus stops at the AKL stand for example.

Sort of. If you link them to the same MDE then no, you only get three total. If you invent a new MDE with a new email and don't link the tickets to your magic bands then yes. Seems like much more hassle than its worth, but people swear by it! :rolleyes1

As a former bus driver, cranbiz knows what he's talking about. When he said it 'may' require s bus transfer I'm sure he meant just a transfer, not a bus transfer. Many times, especially early in the day, drivers may offer to drop you at the Polynesian so you can get to 'Ohana on-time.

Thank you:thanks: it does seem a little more work than need be. My daughter and her friends might be up to it but not me:teeth:

Yes, I know who he is.
We've talked over the years, here.

That's why I was surprised at his answer:

CP will be fine, O'Hana may require a bus change...

That's, why I took the time to further clarify the choices for the route in so many words.

(I figured it was just a slip of the tongue, so to speak.)

It is my understanding that FP+ are not available during MNSSHP.

But, using just a Party Ticket, guests can enter MK as early as 4PM on their party day,
and can make 3 FP+ advanced reservations for the hours between 4PM and 7PM using that Party Ticket.

HOWEVER, if a guest has already booked FP+ for earlier that same day, either at MK or another park, they can't
book more using the Party Ticket, as 3 advance FP+ is the limit per guest, regardless of the number of tickets owned.

Sometimes mind and keyboard have a disconnect. I did mean transfer. And yes, talking to the driver may allow you to get dropped off at the Poly. When I was driving, if asked, I would always be willing to drop off a guest if I was going to any resort other than POR, OKW, SSR or the fort. Can't speak for now but in a case where I was going to OKW for example, I would ask the coordinator if they had a bus heading past the Poly in the loop and direct the guest to that bus. So, in that case, it was a bus transfer. But I would also have advised the guest of the resort monorail and motor launches and let them choose.

Thanks for coming back with the detailed info, cranbiz!
