I was looking at a map but I can not tell how many places the buses stop at in SSR. I know I saw a map on this board showing bus stops and such. Anyone who has stayed there know if the buses stop at different locations as of right now. I would imagine when the resort is completed that the buses will stop as they do at OKW in several locations.

There is a temporary stop right next to the Carriage House (check-in) and a stop just about in the middle of the four waterfront buildings (Congress Park.)

And it's worth mentioning that the temporary stop will eventually be replaced by something permanent in that same vicinity--it just won't be in that exact location. Building construction is keeping them from erecting the permanent bus stop at present.

According to one of the bus drivers, once it is completed there are supposed to be 8 stops in SSR, that will be second only to Pop Century's 9.

Found a post that has the printed resort map they are using at SSR:

Looks like they have 3 bus stops planned. The one in Congress Park is already in use. And, as I said, the one near the Carriage House is not formally in service--rather they just have what amounts to a fire lane currently marked as the temporary bus stop.

The map really doesn't do justice to the walking distances--things are much closer than they appear. In the Congress Park area, all four buildings are no more than 2 minutes from the bus stop.

Bear in mind that DVC has announced 6 more buildings at the resort which are not on this map. That will probably add two more stops on the route--at least by 2007 when they are finally open.

Eight bus stops sounds like a little bit of that 'ole bus driver storytelling. He didn't happen to mention Beastly Kingdom or the Villains theme park did he? :)

If I recall correctly, the Disney Institute had 8 stops, but they had more (albeit smaller) buildings.

Pop Century only has one stop.

Coronado Springs has 4.
Riverside has 4.
Old Key West has 5.
Caribbean Beach has 7.
