Is just plain intolerable. On 3/19, we left the resort at 4:30 hoping to catch some batting practice prior to the first pitch of the Tigers/Braves game at 6:05pm. I'd called to resort desk for info; the cast member cheerily told me that we'd travel to MGM, then catch a transfer to ESPN. She knew not her business.
At MGM, I asked our driver where to go. With a wave towards a dozen bus stops, he said 'Over There'. At 'Over There', there were no signs for ESPN. So I went to the office for directions. The 'bus master' told us we'd need to hop a bus to Pop Century, then catch one to ESPN. Once at PC, we waited... and waited... and waited... after 30 minutes, an ESPN bus showed. We boarded, and to our amazement got a refresher course on CBR as we stopped at that resort to pick up more passengers.
We finally hit the ballpark at 6:20, missing the first inning entirely. A near two-hour ordeal, complete with two transfers, long waits and copious misinformation. After the game, we refused to do it again. A comfortable cab with a hilarious driver took our party of four back to POFQ inside fifteen minutes, at a cost of $20, including a generous tip. My advice? Take a cab.
