Bus service from Courtyard by Marriot

Our original plan was to drive but as time quickly approaches...we are considering air travel! We are staying at the Courtyard by Marriot at DTD and are concerned about using the bus transportation they provide. We are used to staying at WL, BWV, etc. and have never had a problem using the Disney transportation system.
We will be there at the end of Sept. beginning of Oct. so crowds should not be an issue.
I'm just don't want to spend a lot of time waiting for a bus.
What can we expect?

The DTD hotel buses were very nice and I thought they came often enough(this was in January-there was a schedule I believe, and the buses always seemed to be on-time).

Since DTD is close to the hotels we'd often just take the Disney buses from the parks or from other resorts to DTD, spend a little time there, and walk back to the hotel.

We stayed there last summer. The buses are very nice and comfortable and we never had a problem going to the parks because they pick up at CBM on a regular schedule. We did encounter a few problems like the night we left MK right at closing. First bus was full and we waited more than an hour in the middle of the parking lot for another bus, which was also packed but we managed to squish on. We had a bit of a wait a few other times but when we left AK at closing the bus was sitting there waiting for us and was not full. So all in all I would say the transportation was ok but not great. But of course that was just MY experience and I've seen other posters say they had no problems with the DTD transportation.
