I know the savvy folks here will know the answer to this question (and maybe have a picture to post).

My cousin and I are hoping to go to WDW in May staying at POFQ (my 1st time at a moderate:cool1:) We went in Oct 2008, stayed at POP and remember it always being the very last bus stop waiting area (usually #18) when leaving the parks. Does anyone know what number bus waiting area POFQ is? Especially at MK and EPCOT. I remember in my head a picture of the sign at MK listing all the resorts and it said something like "wait at this numbered area for the bus to this resort". We have called POFQ and Disney Transportation and seemed to have stumped them.

Thanks.
Laurie:)

The bus stops for the resorts are different at each park and they have nothing to do with the resort being a value or moderate or whatever. To answer your question regarding POFQ see below (IMHO If you were not happy with POP bus locations you will be even less happy with POFQ)

MK - #6 last stop on your left as you leave the park. On Sunday MK made some drastic changes to the bus stops but POFQ stayed where it was.
EPCOT - #8 the third stop on your left as you leave the park
HS - #14 last stop on the right as you leave the park
AK - #6 last stop on the right as you leave the park
DTD - #1 this is the closest stop at both MP and PI

IMHO POR, Riverside and FQ, have decent locations (except at Studios). At EPCOT, it's one of the best locations. At MK the end of the A side is not horrible neither is the end of the A side at AK.

I would like to know what they were thinking with the Sunday MK bus stop rearrangement. I guess I'll find out this weekend.

I didn't hear about this... any interesting changes?

Nothing major, except the biggest change, is that they moved CSR from #1 all the way to 15.

The other changes were switching OKW and SSR. Stops 2 and 9 (see below)These were right across from each other anyway.

Also AKL and WL switched with each other. WL is now in #3 and AKL moved to 10. # 10 is the first stop down the left path as you leave MK, see below

The following are the bus stops on the left as you leave MK. The stops on the right start at 11 and continue to POP at #18 at the end

5-----6
4-----7
3-----8
2-----9
1-----10

MK

Except for moving CSR, there was really no advantage in any of the other moved other than to mess up those drivers that don't work at MK all the time.

The queues are roughly the same size for SSR/OKW and WL, moving AKL to LZ10 is probably a good idea but I would have put it in LZ1. Stays on the same side and you still get the advantage of the sidewalk as an extension of the queue.

So now the queues at MK are,
A Side
1 Open
10 AKL
2 OKW
9 SSR
3 WL
8 YC/BC
4 Open
7 BW,SW,DO
5 Riverside
6 French Quarter

B Side
11 Open
12 All Star Movies
13 All Star Music
14 All Star Sports
15 Coronado Springs
16 Carribbean Beach
17 POP overflow (closing)
18 Pop Century
