Hello,
We be staying at the Coronado Springs Resort in May and plan to go to the Flower Power Concert in the World Showcase while we are there. Is there a bus that runs between Coronado and the Boardwalk area, so we can enter Epcot via the World Showcase.
Thanks,
Wanda

no there is not. you have to enter through the regular epcot entrance.

if you want to go to the boardwalk resort, you have to take a bus to either a park or Downtown Disney, and then transfer to a Boardwalk resort bus. there are no resort to resort buses.

There used to be but they discontinued it a few years ago. I can't believe they don't try harder to get people to the Boardwalk, I think it is the best night spot in Disney with entertainment and views of most of the fireworks plus Jellyrolls is a fantastic night spot. My daughter loves the entertainment on the Boardwalk and it is a great place to just take a walk.

There are buses to resorts from BW but they are very late at night. Basically there to service those leaving Jellyrolls. There haven't been 'regular' buses between BW and other resorts as long as I can remember...and I've owned DVC at BWVs for over 10 years now.
If you want to enter through the IG, you can always take a bus to DHS and either boat or walk..takes about 25 mins, not including wait times, to boat and about 20 mins to walk.

I'm always amazed when people say the entertainment is so wonderful at BW. Yes, we have Jellyrolls, but that's not a huge draw for people due it it's being an over 21 spot. And there are strolling magicians at night..but it's no longer every night. There are some carnival games, but just a few. I would imagine you could spend an hour or so there, walking around, but not much longer.

Take a bus to DHS and then take the boat or walk to the International Gateway Epcot entrance.

I didn't know that!!! that is good to know. we also like to do karaoke at the Swan (just across the bridge from ATlantic Dance Hall and Jelly rolls.) It's nice to not have to drive and both can have cocktails at a nightclub.

any idea what time they start running these?

Usually around 11-midnight. But, they aren't quick. It's really the bus to DTD, and they will stop at various other resorts as needed. At least, that's what I've been told. If it were me? I would rather take a cab! So much quicker.

true . we did a split stay between AOA and BW last year. a cab from AOA to BW was $7! cost us $12 cause I wasn't going to waste the guy's time with my usual 20% ($1.40 tip) so I tipped $5 (my usual minimum)

My father has a health condition and yes I know disney requires ALOT of walking but of those who have stayed here , what's the best building or area to request to be in??

request the Cabanas section. it is right between the ain area with prpper market and the main pool. it has it's own bus stop and quiet pool.

preferred rooms are in the casitas. and are very close to pepper market, etc. but kind of a longer walk to the main pool.

ranchos is the furthest from everything (well, actually a couple ranchos bldgs are close to an entrance to the main pool.

each section has its own bus stop and quiet pool

The website says there is a bus from Coronado to the Boardwalk RESORT area? I would assume that would get you where you want to go. I don't know first hand though. I would like some clarification because I am staying at Coronado and have reservations at Kouzziana that probably need to be cancelled if I won't have a way to get there...

I'm not aware of a bus between CSR and the Boardwalk. However, you could take the bus from CSR to the DHS park and either walk or boat from there to the Boardwalk.

There is no bus between CSR and BW. You could take a bus to DHS and then either boat or walk to BW. The walk is very pleasant....takes under 20 mins, along the canal, on a nice sidewalk. The boat takes about 15 mins, not including any waits.

OLP wizard lists a bus between CSR and Boardwalk so such a route must exist.

I think Disney runs that route after Jellyrolls closes and maybe if a convention needs it

That information is out of date. There used to be a bus between CSR and BW after 4:00pm but it was discontinued years ago. I guess they ran it to encourage conventioneers at CSR to go to BW in the evening.
