I've only eaten a burger at Geyser Point Lounge. It was quite good with all sorts of toppings for the bison burger. The black cherry mule caused me to drink different types of mules for the rest of the trip. An easy boat ride from MK and a very relaxing atmosphere.
The man and his brother have enjoyed the burgers at Boathouse. It's some sort of custom grind but I don't know what cuts go into it. I'd guess brisket is part of it from the little taste I had.
A second for D-luxe at springs. I with say the food options at WDW go way beyond pizza, burgers, & dogs, no need to eat any of these while there, just eat favs near your house when you get back home
Yes!! That is a great burger. For something totally different, I like the menchi katsu sliders at Morimoto Asia (served in the lounge). The lunch-only Wagyu Burger at Hollywood Brown Derby is good, too. But more expensive and not as amazing as Y&Y.
In fact, there are a lot of good burgers throughout WDW. I steer clear of the quick service burgers because they're often gray and dry. But lounges and table service places have some really excellent burgers. I didn't love the burger topped with lobster thermidor at Grand Floridian Cafe, but at least it was interesting.
I second this. It's not that they are "bad" but they have to be dressed up to be any good. Standard frozen burger meat. And while D-Lux was better than average, I found them to be very greasy versions of the QS cousins in the parks.
Most TS and lounges have real burgers. Sanna has one of the best burgers ever on their lunch menu IMO. I have heard Boathouse also has one of the best burgers on property too.

I agree- but we have two teen boys and one eats a burger for a snack! The other is not an adventurous eater so we're trying to find good options for him, too.

For the exceptionally non-adventurous, most table-service restaurants can do adult portions of children's meals. Even more "exotic" places like Tiffins, Jiko and Marrakesh have things like cheese pizza, grilled chicken, basic burgers and mac-n-cheese. Your son will have options almost everywhere.

YES! Especially with the shiitake mushroom and scallion compote on it. That burger, with the wok-fried beans or firecracker shrimp to start, and mango pie for dessert is one of my favorite meals. I wish Landry's would expand Yak & Yeti beyond WDW. It's better than some of their nationwide places (such as Bubba Gump or Joe's Crab Shack).

My DH pretty much only eats burgers at QS restaurants. Most of the Disney owned QS places have the same burgers. He did really like the burger at Liberty Inn in the America section of Epcot because they had brioche buns instead of the regular ones.

My top three WDW burgers...
1. PB&G (Four Seasons) - American burger
2. Geyser Point (Wilderness Lodge) - bison burger
3. Grand Floridian Cafe - Lobster thermidor burger
Sometimes I like the seasonal specialty burger at Sci Fi. My all-time favorite is the Boursin burger, but it's been a while since I've found it there.
You might not be interested in vegetarian burgers, but I'd like to give an honorable mention to the vegetarian quinoa burger at Raglan Road. I'm not vegetarian, but I still thought it was great.
