Burgers and Chicken Nuggets at Epcot

As far as other places that have stuff on par with that - Sunshine Seasons has mac n cheese, pasta and marinara, grilled cheese. Germany's Sommerfest has hot dogs/brats, China has sweet and sour chicken, France has a ham and cheese "sandwich", and Mexico has chicken tenders. Promenade has hot dogs.

All very accessible. You can get a burger (and other "American things"), or variations of, at a good chunk of the table service places, too.

What about those that want to eat on the go and not have to spend time or money at a table service restaurant, or are on the QSD plan? I cant believe Epcot wont have basic food options such as burgers and nuggets for these folks. I personally have a super picky kid and am pretty certain if its not a nugget or burger, she'll just eat snack foods rather than any of the above you mentioned.

Unless I'm mistaken others have indicated there are other dining locations that already offer chicken nuggets and burgers, whether it be quick service or table service.

I'm totally confused -- you stated above "How do you get burgers and nuggets elsewhere in Epcot right when Electric Umbrella and Liberty Inn close without altering menus?"

If there are already other options in the park that offer chicken nuggets and burgers, then there's no need to alter menus at other locations.

I care. And I bet many others too. There might actually be people who like burgers. Why should someone have to go elsewhere? There will be plenty of options for people who want them. You don’t have to go there if you don’t want it,. Why take away the basic park food option for those who do?

This reminds me of the woman I once saw at the QS place in Mexico. Her son apparently ONLY eats French Fries (I assume 3 meals a day 365 days a year from her actions). She apparently felt that if she kept asking the question and explaining the problem the CM would somehow produce the French fries they were hiding in the back for her child. After several minutes the man behind her had enough (and by this time the woman was SCREAMING about "HE ONLY EATS FRENCH FRIES") and tells the woman "LADY, I realize you seem to have issues with the nice Cast Member, but they are NOT hiding the French Fries from you to just watch this scene, MOVE ON". She storms off saying she's going to find someone to complain to because "every place should have French fries".

You know what the options are. If you can't live with them there are 3 other parks.

You missed the "Well, other than ordering kids meals at Tangierine Cafe." part.

Then they can eat before, after, find an alternative or eat snacks as you suggest. Plan on not spending the entire day at Epcot if you fear you won't have anything to eat.

So a child (or picky adult) should have to eat lunch or dinner foods for breakfast before going to the park, or leave the park entirely, or eat snack foods, because there's no other options for simple American food items? I find that rather lame. But its entirely possible that that's just me.

If that was the case, then yes that's how it has to be. But my post after that shows it's not the case anyways.

Menus are available online for all of the QS and TS restaurants in each of the parks. If none of the offerings suit someone or their family, they can pack something that works for them or consider going elsewhere. At Epcot, taking the short walk out to Beach Club's Hurricane Hannah or Boardwalk-to-Go would give you hamburger & chicken nugget options.

Which is why I listed places that are on the QSD. Basic food galore..

Yes. If you're that picky it's on you to work around what's available. And as pointed out above, there are plenty of plain food options available in Epcot outside of burgers.

I was a super picky kid and am still somewhat picky as an adult. If I go to a restaurant with other people that's not really to my taste I find whatever on the menu I'll eat and go with it, even if it's only appetizers/sides/desserts. Eating snacks around the world showcase doesn't seem like a big hardship.

I don't believe I have seen/read that there are any other counter service places in Epcot that offer burger/chicken nuggets on an adult meal.

Can you let us know which counter service places offer burgers/chicken tenders/nuggets as an adult meal in Epcot? We've only ever gotten them at the 2 places that are closing, so it'd be great to know ahead of time.

Thank you for the list, but are these kid or adult meals?
