OK, folks. Is the burger at Beaches and Cream really that good? Seriously worth the extra trip out to the Beachclub resort? Or is it the combo burger and icecream that makes it worthwhile?

Looking for some fun lunch options...out of the ordinary...

I can't speak for the food, but the trip is not inconvenient. You can walk there from MGM or EPCOT.

Not in my opinion. Walk or not. I've eaten there 3 times & not once been impressed - not with cheeseburger, steak sandwich or veggie burger. The No Way Jose Ice Cream sundea is fantastic tho.

If you're looking for a killer burger in WDW, try the Waterfall Cheeseburger at the Cabana Bar & Grill , poolside at the Dolphin. Now that's a burger worth a trip for. I'm not a burger lover, it's got to be one heck of a burger to wow me. This 1/2# of Black Angus chuck wows me. Pair it with an Pineapple Mojito & you have yourself a real cheeseburger in Paradise.

We always enjoy B&C. DH usually orders the burgers and says they are great.

I don't feel that the burgers are anything to go out of the way for, but if you do, please order a "No Way Jose" sundae. They're a meal in themselves. Enjoy!

The burgers.. nothing that exciting....

OMG! That sounds yummy! A pineapple mojito is definitely something that needs to be in my future!

The food isn't very good. The burger we had was fatty and small, the grilled chicken dried out and the kid's meals not impressive. I've eaten there three times and it has been disappointing every time

Go for the fantastic ice cream and the fun atmosphere though! My family ordered the Kitchen Sink and we still giggle thinking about it.

Burgers at B&C are wonderful. Best on property.

We've been to B&C several times, as recent as 2 weeks ago. Everyone in my family agrees that the ice cream desserts are the main attraction at B&C. However, last time I got a hot dog with chili and cheese and that was pretty good and I would get that again, but I'm not wild about the burgers there. Now if you are looking for a great burger, ESPN Club on the Boardwalk has a great burger with sauteed mushrooms and cheddar cheese.

A few years ago I would have answered yes. But we go every year, and the last 3 years the food quality has gone down and the service has been borderline rude. Well, actually VERY rude to tables around us last trip. Unbelieveable waitress who scolded folks like they were at 50's Prime Time. But not in a joking manner. One party got up and left after barely eating. I hate to say that too, because we really did enjoy it a couple of times in the past.

IMOP, we think the food is very good.

We had a horrible customer service issue the last time we were there, 3 weeks ago. We try and make it a point to eat there every trip but we usually stay someplace on the BW, so its not an inconvenience.

Never ate there, but stopped in and took a look around when I was in town for business one time, and I would not go out of my way to eat here. Picture a small, and I mean small, greasy spoon diner. That's the impression I got. If you were staying at BC or YC or BW and needed a last minute place to eat, I would say go for it, but I think it is way over-rated on the DIS.

As the previous poster noted B&C is very small so it is usually difficult to get a seat without waiting a while. That's why we have never dined inside despite a few attempts. We have had the hot fudge sundae via take-out that was very good, but if it's like most Disney places now, the ice cream is Edy's. That's what it is at the BW Sweet Shop across the lake.

I agree with others that it's not worth the effort to get there unless you happen to be nearby for another reason. If you are looking for a good burger, the ESPN Club on the BW has a very good one. :)

I'm not a burger person necessarily, but if it was outstanding, I'd want to give it a try. I guess I'll pass.

Thanks for the advice everyone.

It's been nearly 2 years since we've been there we go for the hot open roastbeef and provalone sandwich, it's delicious and so is the sundaes.
