Bunnies, Blooms, & the Boardwalk...NEW TR LINK ADDED p. 14

Hi Sarah

I've been reading your Epcot plans, TT and Soarin are definite highlights. We see the movie in France every visit, it is one of my DS's favorites. If you have not been to Canada's movie it is really good too. No chairs but the pictures are beautiful.
I bought a new tink birdbath, my old one broke. Just tink's wing, but I couldn't just replace her, I tried! The online store had a 25% off sale. The birdbath is usually at the F&GF, it is so cute. Have you ever seen it? With the weather we've been having it will go outside soon.
Happy Birthday, the 12th? Any fun plans?

Yeah, that is one of the neat things about the France movie. There were some pretty cool shots. I bet the Canada one is good too. I'd love to visit there some day!

I am pretty sure I've seen those birdbaths before. They are adorable.

Yep, my birthday was today. :) We went to Friday's at Miller Park over the weekend since my dad and sister's birthdays are also this week. Speaking of Miller Park, I see you're going to spring training soon. That should be fun! :thumbsup2 Can't believe it's almost baseball season already.

Happy Birthday! We were at the park on Saturday afternoon and noticed a lot of activity. We saw multiple fire trucks near the south dock, my DH thought that the water was being turned on in the facility, or maybe they were just going through some training activities. Everything needs to be prepared for Opening Day. Were you there on Saturday too? I like going to Fridays at the ballpark, did you go into the Brewers gift shop?
We are excited to go to Spring training and hope to get to 6-7 games while we are there. I really love our trips to AZ.

Hey everyone, just a quick update for today. I'm sure some of you have already seen this but Storybook Circus opened today (I'm pretty sure it was just soft opening though and official opening is March 31st?). I've seen a few pictures floating around and all I can say is it looks ADORABLE! I may not exactly be the intended audience for Dumbo the Flying Elephant, but I don't care, I think I'm going to have to ride it when we go!

Here are a couple of the pictures, but all credit goes to this site (where you can see the rest of the photos): STORYBOOK CIRCUS PHOTOS

The new train station. I have to admit I got so confused when I saw the caption "Fantasyland station." I was thinking no it's not, it's the Toontown station. But it really is Fantasyland now!

I LOVE this one...gorgeous! And the water is so fun!

OMG, I can't wait to see it in person. :goodvibes

And since I haven't done one in a few days, I'll leave you with another theme park music video. This one will be a preview for the next set of park plans, which I'll try to post tomorrow since we'll be 25 days from our trip!:yay:

Hooray for Hollywood!

I love this song-I actually used it in a video I made for my dad after our trip a couple years ago. Now I want to go on the Great Movie Ride...haha

Have a good night!

Yeah, we were there Saturday but it wasn't until around 5:30 or 6:00. It was pretty busy, maybe with people watching basketball? We did take a look in the gift shop-I need to get a new t-shirt for this season. And of course we saw Mickey Mouse.

Have fun at the spring training games. We really enjoyed it when we went in 2008. My dad and Emma are going to Louisville this week for the MU game since she's on spring break (and can't go to WDW...).

Still in Milwaukee, I had to take the Family Leave Act, no pay.
Pain meds were way to strong and he was hallucinating, he kept hearing me talk and I wasn't. His Dr is the official Dr for the Bucks and Marquette Sports teams and Corey Hart had surgery same day.

We will be going to the Keys Friday till Tuesday, Wed-Universal and I have free days Thursday and Friday. I have 9 more days on my Disney ticket and 9 more days to use at Disney Quest or water parks or golfing. I may do a water park and Disney Quest one day, and Epcot or MK the next day, haven't decided yet.

I'm so excited about Storybook Circus! I was stalking pictures/videos of it all day yesterday. The quality of everything looks amazing... the water on Dumbo and the way the colors change at night is so awesome! I can't wait to see it in person and I definitely do not blame you for wanting to ride Dumbo on your trip! I can't wait for the second side and the tent to open!

I was all over the new Fantasyland photo yesterday! Awesome looking! I can't wait to see what you thought!

You are getting so close! I can't wait until I can say I have less than a month!

Hey Sarah! I always find your PTR/TRs so late! I'm here though... and ready to follow along. :goodvibes

OH MY GOSH! I am SO excited for the new Fantasyland. The pictures of the new Dumbo, train station, etc are just perfect.

You'll be there so soon!

I'm pretty excited to see Storybook Circus when we're there in few months.

BTW-after I listened to the music, I'm ready to ride GMR myself, too! I love that ride!

Storybook Circus looks so amazing! Less than a month now, until you'll get to see it in person. I still find it oddly disorienting that the Dumbo goes in the opposite direction now.

I love that picture of Epcot, too!

I love the idea of putting music in your PTR, it so totally reminds me of being there on the rides or in epcot. We went in 2008 to the F&G show and it was fantastic, so many beautiful flowers and topieries. So jealous of you getting to go soon I have to wait till next year :(

Yikes, that is scary! I hope that problem was resolved quickly!

I'm a little jealous you're going to Universal. I hope you are going to go to the Wizarding World! ;) Forbidden Journey is amazing. I don't know if we'll do it, but I'm hoping to go to Blizzard Beach at some point since we haven't been there in a while. We'll have to keep in touch to see if we can meet up.
Happy belated Birthday!!!!

I will try to take a bunch of pictures. It looks so cute.

It really is coming up fast. And the warm weather here is putting me in a Florida mood.

Hi Lauren! Welcome!

Aren't the pictures great? It is going to be cool but a part of me is still a little sad that Toontown is gone. Poor Mickey and Minnie's houses. :sad2:

I'm pretty excited to see Storybook Circus when we're there in few months.

BTW-after I listened to the music, I'm ready to ride GMR myself, too! I love that ride!

haha, glad I'm not the only one who felt that way. That's what I love about the theme park music, it just transports you right there! :cloud9:

I love that picture of Epcot, too!

Are the two Dumbo circuits going to fly in opposite directions so one is still like the old one (so when they're both running the elephants fly toward each other?). If that makes any sense at all...

I love the idea of putting music in your PTR, it so totally reminds me of being there on the rides or in epcot. We went in 2008 to the F&G show and it was fantastic, so many beautiful flowers and topieries. So jealous of you getting to go soon I have to wait till next year :(

Glad you like the park music. Stay tuned for the next update/song.

Bummer you don't get to go until next year though. :sad2: Atleast it's something to look forward to!

23 DAYS TO GO!!!

Hard to believe we're getting close to three weeks. So excited! But I'm running out of time to post park plans so here we go with the next park...

Disney's Hollywood Studios Plans!!!

dhsballoons.jpg

Like Epcot, it's going to be nice staying at the Boardwalk because of the walkway to DHS, which will make it easy to get to. I seriously doubt we'll use the boats at all but maybe some day when we're leaving we can just because the Friendships are always fun. :)

Lately we've been going to DHS on our second morning. I know there are morning EMH on Monday so we can either do that or wait until Tuesday to visit (depending on if we want to get up early every day). Regardless of when we go, no morning at Hollywood Studios would be complete without a mad dash to Toy Story Mania first thing. Hopefully we'll be able to get a fastpass to use later but we'll have to pay attention to the time now that they're reinforcing return times.

After tiring out our arms on TSM, we'll go back to Sunset Boulevard to ride Tower of Terror and Rock 'n Roller Coaster. Gotta love 'em. :thumbsup2 My other must-do at DHS is the American Idol Experience, which I can't believe we didn't do in October, but I guess that's what happens when you've only got two days. We'll have to make up for that by going to one of the regular shows and then going back some evening for one of the finales.

We usually don't do the shows but this trip I would like to see Lights, Motors, Action! for sure (gotta see Lightning McQueen plus it's been a few years since we last saw it) and maybe Indiana Jones (or Beauty and the Beast [/B ]since that's another one I haven't seen in AGES). And even though I probably won't recognize any of the music other than the High School Musical stuff I sort of want to see the Disney Channel Rocks! show.

Other things we'll have to check out are the Animation Academy (again, probably more than once-that class is addicting!), the Great Movie Ride, and Star Tours. Now that I finally tried it on our last trip I can actually say I enjoyed it and wouldn't mind riding again. I know Dad won't object to that. And if the Jedi Training Academy is going on it's always fun to stop and watch the little Jedis. :)

Oh yes, and we also plan on eating at the ABC Commissary since I know one of their former cast members...;)

Anything else I missed? It's funny, because I never really cared for DHS all that much but I have grown to enjoy it a lot more over the years.

And to continue with some more park music, how about a little Fantasmic?

Fantasmic Finale

I have to admit I sometimes get a little misty-eyed when everyone starts cheering for Mickey at the end of the show. It's just so cute. PS, 2:37 is about where I get chills. :goodvibes

The storybook circus area looks so cute, I loved barnstormer, and the improvements look great. Dumbo is pretty nice too, but only without a wait. I hope the soft opening continues, or will it really be open by the time you are there?

I think you have some great plans for DHS, my favorite park, although I am not a fan of Lights Motor Action. Beauty and the Beast is great though. I haven't read much about the enforcement of FP, are the cm's watching the window of time and turning people away if they show up late? Interesting, and a definite change for many of the disers who used the long time period to their advantage. You'll have to report your experiences back to all of us. Animation Academy is so much fun, I really like it too.

Can't wait to see the Brewers, 1st game vs LAA on Saturday in Tempe.:goodvibes Your dad and sister saw a good game, Go Marquette. They head to Phoenix next, hope to see them there. We'll be there for the week. Enjoy the warmth here, it has been great.

Happy belated birthday Sarah! Hope you had a great day!

Woohoo on it being 22 days! Great DHS plans :thumbsup2

Where did you get that amazing DHS picture??? AHHH I love it! I made it the background on my computer!

Your DHS plans sound great! I am fully intending to do the TSM mad dash this year, I'm just gonna take Brandon's AP, tell him to grab a bench, and brave it alone! :rotfl2:

It's been way too long since I've seen Fantasmic. The ending is amazing! DHS day sounds fun.:goodvibes
