Bunk Beds at WL Question?

Hi,

I have a silly question. My family is scheduled for our 1st visit to Disney in November. We are booked at the Wilderness Lodge, Woods View with Bunk Beds. My daughter is so excited to sleep on a bunk bed and wants Mom to sleep in one as well.

My question is has anyone ever slept in a bunk bed? I imagine it's not too comfortable.

Thanks!

Sarah

If you sleep on the bottom iti s not too bad - just be careful about bumping your head to get under there. My DH fell asleep on the bottom bunk one afternoon at WL and said it was more comfortable than he would have thought....he did not spend a whole night there though!

I spend a whole week on the bottom bunk at WL once, and other than the caveat to watch your head and step when entering the bunk beds, it was very comfortable. In case it matters, I was an adult at the time!

Bunk beds at the WL are a fun idea and are great if you have younger children. However if you have kids who are tall, I recommend they sleep on the bottom bunk because our older DS who was about 4' 6" when we were there, nearly hit his head on the ceiling fan.

Same here...last month. I actually enjoyed it. I had the space all to myself.

Hi,

Thanks so much for the replies!

I'm short so from what I understand, I shouldn't have a problem. I was thinking of switching rooms to two queen size beds but I'll keep as is.

thanks again!
