I think we have a problem . . .but unsure to call an exterminator because we cannot find the location of the bees.

Yesterday in the laundry room (basement) there were 2 bumble bees flying around . . .then later on . . .2 more . . .Today, same thing except not only in the laundry room, but somehow they made it upstairs.

There have only been a few, but I would feel better if I new exactly where they were coming from that way I could point it out to an exterminator.

Anyone else have a problem with bumble bees this year in their houses? 2 years ago we found a large next of wasps in the basement and had to call in an exterminator because the nest was huge and unseeable under the ceiling tiles. The exterminator said it was an active nest for years.

Anyone have any advice?

I'm not sure . . the dryer vent is underneath the deck and the only way to get to it is to take it apart. The deck is ventilated with latice but it could be where they are. DH is off from work tomorrow . .I think I'll give him a project. If they were in the dryer chute how would they fly out of there?

I saw something at Lowes, it was a type of bee trap. I didn't look at it too closely, because my problem was with a bird and not a bee. You might want to call them and ask about it!:sunny:
