Bulk flowers from Sam's, Costco or Amazon

Has anyone had any experience ordering bulk flowers through any of these sites? I'm going to do a school fundraiser for Valentine's Day with carnations, and they have some great prices. I just worry about the quality of the flowers, and I'd like to hear from anyone who's used them before.

My SIL ordered bulk flowers so she could do the flowers for her son’s wedding. We did it at my home. Mostly roses - dozens and dozens. They were beautiful and perfect.

She used Sam’s.

I buy bulk flowers from Sam's Club several times a year to make centerpieces for birthday parties.
I also buy the bulk roses to give as gifts for birthdays and Valentine's Day.

I have always been happy with the quality of the flowers and the prices are very affordable.

I was talking in line (with a dozen roses for my wife) with someone who claimed to work for our area Costco's flower suppliers. She said they have the highest standards, but of course Costco's volume makes them money even at the low costs. Their roses are from Colombia like most of the roses sold in the United States.

When we've gotten them (especially the 2 dozen for $14) they've lasted a long, long time. They also came with a packet of that nutrients that's supposed to make them last longer in water. They do have multiple suppliers in different parts of the US, so your mileage may vary.

I'd also price at your local grocery store if they have a florist. They may offer a better deal, especially since this is a school fundraiser.

We've bought the 2 (or 3) dozen rose package from Costco and they were really high quality, but I haven't bought them in bulk.

Carnations are hard to mess up as they are very resilient flowers. Go for price point.

I ordered flowers in bulk from costco for my inlaws 50th anniversary celebration. Fantastic quality and very affordable. Would buy from them again

The ones we bought in bulk from Sam's were very high quality. The roses were delivered to my home a couple of days before the wedding. I got to keep a lovely vase of extras which lasted a long time and looked beautiful. I can't find a picture right now or I'd post one.

I ordered bulk flowers for an event at the college I work for. They were beautiful! I ordered from Costco. I would do it again.
