That's awesome about your all-girls trip! :dance3: It sounds like it's going to be a blast!!!

I've heard about that new tour, and I would love to give it a shot, but since we've already got one booked in AK and we have a few extras anyway, it would be really hard to justify doing that one too. I like that they've added breakfast in this new one though :thumbsup2

Also, I think you'd be fine to try several things from the F&W booths...the cheddar cheese soup and filet mignon from the Canada booth would be a good place to start :thumbsup2

Me: Now what to do you want to do?

Shane: I don't know. What do you want to do?

Me: Well, we could do ______. Or we could do _____. So, which do you want to do?

Shane: Doesn't matter. What do you want to do?

Me: I'm ok with whatever you want to do.

Shane: I don't care, whatever you want to do is fine.

Me: OH FOR THE LOVE JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT TO DO.

Seriously, replace "Shane" with "Johnny" and you've got every decision of every day of my life. :rotfl:

Well, I just abandoned this poor PTR of mine, didn't I? :sad2:

I can't believe we're into the 30s on our countdown... 38 days, to be exact! I can officially say "I'm going to Disney World next month!" Love that feeling. :goodvibes

So here are our new plans for Tuesday. Originally this was to be our MNSSHP day. But...

We switched the plans for Tuesday and Thursday (everything else is staying the same.) Now we'll be doing the luau on Tuesday night, and ending our vacation with MNSSHP on Thursday!

Tuesday morning we still have our 10:30 breakfast ADR at Boma. After we return to POR we'll maybe go to the pool for a bit before getting ready for the luau.

We're still going to the 5:15 show, but we opted to upgrade to Category 1 seating. We had to pay out-of-pocket for that, as you can't use dining credits for Category 1, but it worked out fine! We'll use one of those "extra" credits for our Boma breakfast (originally we were going to pay out-of-pocket) and another for lunch on Thursday (but you'll have to wait until I reveal those day's plans to find out where!)

As originally planned, we'll make our way over to the Poly around 4:30. I still want to try and catch the Electrical Water Pageant and fireworks from the Poly beach afterwards. It would've been nice to see Wishes this night instead of HalloWishes, but it's a party night so HalloWishes is what we get!

Then it will be back to POR to turn in for a good night's sleep and get ready for rope drop at DHS in the morning!

Holy cow! Your trip is right around the corner!! :yay::yay:

I love your new plan. I think MNSSHP is a great way to end your trip! :goodvibes

Does this mean your MNSSHP date is October 18th!?!?!?

Yep! We'll definitely have to keep an eye out for each other... maybe do a little trick-or-treating together! :thumbsup2

I think so, too. At first, I wasn't sure... with the luau originally on Thursday (which happens to be our actual anniversary) I thought that was great, since it'd be a relaxing and romantic ending to our trip. But the party will be fun! And we both feel switching the plans for these 2 days actually works better.

YAY for 38 days....now 37!!:cool1::banana::yay:

Only 25 days now! :woohoo:

Wednesday is our DHS day! Our plan is to make it to the park for opening and head to TSMM first. We'll ride stand-by, then grab FPs for later. We'll then make our way down to RnRC and ToT… and Shane said he may even go on ToT with me! He's very adamant about the "maybe", LOL.

After we hit the "big 3", our day is pretty much open. The only other attraction I really want to do is the Art of Animation class, mainly because this is something Shane has never done.

We'll grab QS for lunch… somewhere. The where may just depend on what part of the park we're in when we get hungry, but I'm thinking it will likely be either Pizza Planet or Starring Rolls. I'm not a big fan of sandwiches, but being able to get one of the cupcakes at Starring Rolls as my dessert on the dining plan is a huge plus! If we don't eat at Starring Rolls for lunch, I am most definitely grabbing a cupcake for a snack.

I'm not sure if I mentioned the time for our dinner at Cape May, but I've changed it. Originally our dinner was for 6:30 but I pushed it back to 7:25. Even though we'll have a leisurely touring plan, I just wanted to be sure we have enough time at DHS to get everything done, as it's our only day in the park. So hopefully we'll have all the attractions we want to see finished by 6:30 or so, and make our way over to the BC (maybe via resort boat?) around that time.

I've been to Cape May before (but Shane hasn't) and though I'm not a big fan of seafood, I enjoyed my dinner. I am looking forward to seeing what the restaurant looks like now that it has gone under a refurb over the summer. And Shane is a fan of seafood… he's looking forward to dinner here, as well.

If we're not too tired after dinner, I'd like to walk around and explore the Boardwalk, as we've never been there before. Maybe wander into Jellyrolls and check that place out. And since the Oreo bonbons are now off the menu at Cape May (boooo!), perhaps we can head over to Beaches & Cream for a yummy late-night snack!

I've heard they have the Oreo Bon-Bons for purchase in the marketplace there! I have ALSO heard that if you request the Bon-Bons ahead of time you might be able to get them at the restaurant... Not sure HOW you request them ahead of time though!!

Your DHS day sounds great! Your top 3 priorities are my top 3 too! I seem to skip RnRC a lot though, I just can't deal with the long standby lines there! :confused3

I love the drawing class, it's always so fun! I hope you get to have a Starring Roles cupcake, yum! :cool1:

I love Cape May, I'm sad about the oreo bonbons though, I hope they bring them back!

Beaches and Cream is awesome! It's really small though, so go expecting a bit of a wait...

I can't believe how soon your trip is! :cheer2:

I read somewhere (maybe in a TR?) that someone made a bit of a fuss during their dinner that the bonbons were no longer available... not that they were rude about it, just that they mentioned to their server how they were really looking forward to trying the bonbons and were so disappointed to find them gone. The server brought a plate of bonbons to their table... so that's an idea, if I'm brave enough to raise a fuss over it, LOL. And I'd really feel bad if Shane and I are sitting there with a plate of bonbons and the people sitting around us were to give us looks like, "Not fair!" Ah, well. Maybe we'll just have to venture over to the marketplace and take them back to POR! :thumbsup2

Last summer, one morning we bypassed going to TSM first and hit RnR right at rope drop... rode 4x in a row, pretty much just walked on! Well, let me clarify... my friends rode 4x in a row. I knew I couldn't handle that, so I rode the first time then sat out the next two turns, and then rode the final time. So maybe that's the secret... get to RnR first!

I know! It's officially after midnight here so I'm now down to just 9 days, no matter what my ticker says!

Here are the new plans for Thursday:

For breakfast this morning, I'd like to walk over to POFQ to try those beignets! I'm not sure what else we'll do with our morning… maybe walk around and explore POFQ a bit, or maybe head back to POR for a dip in the pool.

We're going to MNSSHP this night… but beforehand, we will head back over to the Poly once again, this time for lunch at Kona! Our ADR is for 2:35, and this is another place neither Shane nor I have been to before.

I figure it'll take at least an hour for lunch, so once we're finished eating we'll head over to the MK and get in the park by 4-ish.

I started talking to Shane about what attractions he wanted to do at MK... mainly, if there was anything that wouldn't be open during the party since we'd have to be sure to get to those between 4 and 7. The only attractions he wants to do are both open during MNSSHP, but one of them is Splash Mtn (the other is BTMR.) I guess we'll head over to ride Splash as soon as we get to the park... this way, if I get drenched... which is what always happens to me on water rides, hence my dislike of water rides... hopefully I'll have plenty of time to dry off before the party officially starts. Even though water rides are not my favorite, I'll buck up and ride it seeing as how it's one of Shane's requests and he hasn't made that many for our entire trip. Ah, the things we do for love, eh? :lovestruc

If we do ride Splash first, I think we'll then walk back through Adventureland (hitting POTC on the way) over to Tomorrowland for the Carousel of Progress since that will be closed for the party. It's one of my favorites! I just love CofP.

I'm not really sure what our plans will be once the party officially starts. Since this is our only day at MK, rides will be our focus. But there really aren't that many that we're interested in doing: Splash, POTC, Buzz, CofP, HM, BTMR. Maybe Dumbo, just so we can check out the new Storybook Circus area.

Shane isn't too excited to meet any characters during the party... if I can talk him into it, maybe we'll meet the princesses with their princes at Town Square Theater. I'd also like to meet Prince Philip and possibly Capt. Jack!

We'll definitely watch the Villains' show, Boo to You! parade, and HalloWishes. We may grab a bite to eat if we get hungry, but I think most of our time will be spent just people-watching and hanging out between rides.

Hopefully we'll make it to the very end of the party, then head back to our last night at POR! :sad1:

Your MNSSHP plans are very different from mine! But its understandable that you want to cover rides more than characters since its your only time in MK!

Lets both pray for good MNSSHP weather!!!

I'm really really really hoping the rumors about New Fantasyland having "soft openings" starting this weekend are true! And that they continue all next week!

And fingers crossed there will be NO RAIN next week!

Wow, I can't believe the trip is a mere 3 days away!

Today I treated myself to a mani/pedi. I'm about 97% packed. I've done one last look over restaurant and F&W menus.

I guess now all that's left to do is wait! Come on, Sunday! :hyper:

I know updates to my PTR have been a bit sporadic, but thanks to all who've read and commented. :earboy2:

Loving the plans, I can't believe you're only 2 days away now!! If I don't get another chance for a sendoff, have a fantastic trip!

I just realized you're there right now!! I hope you two are having a fabulous time!pixiedust:

Happy 15th Anniversary!!! Here's to many more! :drinking1
