bugetting for trains, need help

Can any one help me with how much i will need for transfers etc we need to get from GDG to bussy st george can i do this on the RER and how much for me and two 11yrs old girls

also we have to get from bussy st george to disney each day is there like a weekly pass or something we can buy

its my first time as a independent traveller not worried about disney (been 5 times) just worried about transport

Hi

Can't help with CDG to BSG - you'll either have to go via Disney or central Paris - I'm sure others will confirm. From BSG - I usually buy a set of 10 tickets for travel - it works out at 16.40euros. It may be cheaper though with some form of week travel pass for the family - sorry I can't help more.

For two adults and a 5 year old we were charged 3.90€ for a journey to Val D'Europe. I don't think it would be much more to Bussy . There did seem to be weekly tickets best bet is probably to ask at the info desk at the Station when you arrive . It wasn't worthwhile for our 3 day trip.

Hi - yes you can get to Bussy from CDG. I think it would be aprox 40 - 45 Euro for you all (it cost just over 30 for myself and 10 yo daughter) That is a one way price, you might get a better deal on a return fare.

From Bussy it costs only aprox 2 euro each return to take the train 2 stops along to Disney.

From CDG when you buy your tickets for Bussy, they will inform you that there is a change over (usually @ Chatelet Des Halles - this is well sign posted so it's just a matter of getting off the train after a few stops and literally walking to the line facing (in the direction of Marne le Valley). This is the longer of the train journeys so try to bag some seats. Hopefully you won't be travelling during rush hour!

The reason we did not buy return tickets was that our flight was late evening, so we found it much easier to take the RER 2 stops along to disney, spend some time in the village before catching a bus from the station there to CDG - not much difference in the cost but it was nicer to travel above ground and see the Disney hotels as we picked up along the way.

thanks thats really helpful prob take the train from GDG but I am looking into at a shared shuttle taxi (55 euro each way ) The price from bussy to dlrp is good was thinking it would cost more and was wondering thatI should of booked on site again ,but thats good as we get longer in the parks by staying at a cheap hotel so thanks again for the info

you have a few options. You can purchase a t+ ticket for each trip at the price of €1,50, or a carnet ie ten tickets at the price of €11,10

A carte orange for zones 5-6 is €14,70 for the week but starts on a Monday. You require a passport type photo for this

A carte mobilis most likely won't be much use so depending on your days of travel, amount of travel, etc you should consider a carnet of tickets or a carte orange
