During my Disney trip preparations I read lots of posts questioning the amount of insect activity.
Here is my official report for the dates November 27-December 6, 2003:
One bug bite sustained on my left leg. I think it was from the beach at the Polynesian.

must have been one of those treacherous sand fleas!

i didnt think the bug thing was too b ad in winter time anyway. Its only during the summer that i ever had a problem.

I was there 11/28 through 12/8 and I saw no bugs at all.

No bugs here either, even on the Liberty Belle during MVMCP!!!

There 11/30 thru 12/7 and saw mosquitos at MGM on 12/1 and saw bees many times especially near soda stands.

Thanksgiving week the mosquito bites were bad around the ankles and I have NEVER been to AK when I didnt have an issue where a bee tried to take up touring with us..

andrabell, I was at the Poly the same time as you, November28 to December 6th. I didn't see any bugs either, except one weird flying thing, kind of big and slow that I couldn't identify, but that was at one of the parks.
I did however, get a weird, VERY itchy rash on my ankles for a day or two. It didn't look like bug bites at all, but I was thinking sand fleas or bed bugs, LOL!
