Buffet character meals

Not if you time your trips to the buffet correctly. Just go up when it doesn't look like there will be any characters coming to your table in the next few minutes.

Sometimes the server will let you know to hang tight because a character will be at your table shortly. They usually check to make sure you’ve seen all the characters towards the end of your meal. If you’ve missed one, let your server know.

My experience is that you don't have to worry about it for the above reasons.

I have eaten at several different character buffets. I can remember times when we were approached by CMs wanting to know if we had seen all of the characters so they could have some circle back if needed. I can also remember one time when DH had missed Goofy because he was away from the table. We mentioned it to our server and Goofy appeared shortly after.

We usually do early breakfasts at CP, Cape May, and TH and have never had an issue.

This. Especially at Tusker House where there are multiple rooms, my server let me know the route the characters would take and when not to leave the table when they were at a certain point.

I’ve eaten at both Tusker and Crystal Palace and everyone we’ve had time with all the characters. If you don’t see one or miss one the staff are great at getting them to come and see you if you miss them
