I grew up in Western New York and have never seen the kind of snow you're all getting right now...neither has my mom, and she lived there for 40 years (through the blizzard of 77). We will be thinking of you all this weekend as temps warm up as well, with the danger of so much flooding from 7+ feet of snow.

I hope you are all staying safe, and have power, food and water and are able to keep warm!

i live in Lockport and we only have a few inches of snow.
even though its not bad here my sister who is a teacher has had 4 days off due to teachers that live in the hardest hits areas not being able to get to work.

sounds like most people are staying safe in their houses although some have had to evacuate due to the heavy snow caving in roofs.

We have been at WDW/Universal since last Friday, coming home tomorrow. We missed the whole storm! We live in Niagara county and have heard we only got a few inches. We knew another family down here at the same time and their flight was cancelled three times and they got home two days late. Hoping we can make it out tomorrow!

I've lived here 70 years and NO ONE has ever seen this much snow! Having said that, I live in the northern suburbs and we only got a few inches. We have to drive to Erie, PA tomorrow, assuming I-90 reopens and we'll see it all then.

Got back last night and fortunately our flight was on time. Our flight was only supposed to be 3/4 full but it ended up being a full flight because of all the people they re-scheduled onto it. We talked to one couple who was supposed to get home 3 days prior, but last night was the soonest they could get re-scheduled for!
