I've just read this on a U.K. Disney forum....

'I checked in this evening (Wed 31 Aug) and asked the reception when the pool should be open - the good news is they are just waiting for the city officials to inspect and sign off the work so the pool should be open either Saturday or Monday (depending on when the inspection is done).'

Looks great, especially the low crowds

The only negative is once the inside renovation is done I see resort fees in the future.

I can say whatever you do, DO NOT STAY in room 726 in the tower. Awful awful room, some major water damage, even had fresh water brown drop stain in tub with plaster/paint mixed in. Major mold issues, bottom of the bathroom door was 3 times the size it should be and even a HUGE water stain in the carpet just outside the room. Not sure what happened in there, but it should not be used at all. They did move me to the garden rooms and it was fine. They did not even question me about moving, they just asked what room and were like OK. It looked nice when you first walked in and ALOT of bleach smell. But once we left and went to the parks and came back the bleach wore off and the MOLD was very strong. The AC vent return was black with mold as well.

The pool does look amazing and wish I got a better room at first. But they moved me quick and did not question me. Of course they did not do anything else but I never complain often and never asked to change room before.
