I have a minivan booked 4/7 to 4/14 using this code and coupon. Total after all fees and taxes but before coupon is $302 (so that should be $277 after they take off the coupon)! I booked it back in November, but that code is still bringing up mini vans at the same price.
Over $1,000 without the code, or using a different code!

What coupon code did you use for the $25 off? Is it available to everyone?

Just so you all know, I used the code for our trip a couple weeks back and one of the managers at the counter gave me a hard time, saying it was a code used for Travelocity Employees. He honoured the reservation, but was questioning me like I stole it or something. Saying I should not use it again.

I just called budget to address another issue I had with the rental and also asked the guy at the same time about an upcoming rental I have in late March that I booked with the same code. He said that I need to use that code through travelocity, not the budget website.

So I am doing that. I hope I dont have any issues

Thanks for posting this. I just changed my ressie. Does this include no fee for married spouse driving?

Just used it President's Week along with the coupon. No problems. If you are a member of the frequent rental programs you can go to a counter in the garage. Once I had no wait. This time I had to wait for one person and then got the minivan.

Now I am nervous about this code but I am afraid if I call Budget to ask they will make a notation of it on my reservation and there goes my plan to act"dumb" at the counter like I had no idea about anything. Maybe I should just reserve it thru travelocity just in case.

That would be a good Idea....I booked it through Travelocity then canceled the one I booked through Budget. Printed all of the ressies and cancelations just in case.....if I have any issues....somebody gonna get a hurt real bad!

Spouse driver should be ok....don't think the booking would change this either way.....

Well this stinks. Not sure what to do now. I have another rental through Hertz for almost exactly the same price but it's for a full size. I'd prefer the van through Budget because my inlaws will be at WDW too (different resort) and I am sure we'll all want to drive together at least a few times.
You have to wonder why it works on the Budget site in the first place if it has to be booked through travelocity to be legitimate.

Not sure what to do. Should I just go through travelocity and cancel my Budget reservation?

ETA) And just read that it's supposed to be for employees of travelocity. Is that true? I have no interest in trying to use something I'm not entitled to.

There are a couple of other good Budget codes to check out. The first if the DIS code Y937800 and the other is the "Wendie code" D454300 found here on Budget's website (https://www.budget.com/budgetWeb/ht...l?&ICID=homepage_billboard&IID=wendie_sp_2012) that brings up Compacts for $119 per week and SUVs for $139 per week.

The DIS code works particularly well away from the airport. If you can use ME or a cab to another Budget location (ex: Landstreet) it might be worth your while to pick up your car someplace other than the airport.

I called Budget last night to check on my reservation and she said it was fine but she also advised me to book it thru travelocity just to be safe since its the same price and cancel the one I booked thru Budget.

I have used this code 14 times at MCO thus far, and have never had a single issue. I am a Budget Fastbreak member (free, skip rental car line and go straight to garage to get your car, HIGHLY recommended) and have never had a single person inquire about it. I book via Budget.com. Last use was Jan 2012.

I just plugged this in for a LA/Disneyland trip we're taking in October. Got a Standard SUV for $315 total for the week. I haven't been finding anything less than $400 anywhere, so seems like a very good deal.

I just booked a van for our September / October trip. We decided to splurge a little and rent a van. The hubby was getting tired of waiting in lines for busses (even though he waits in line for rides, LOL). Now we can come and go as we please a do a little off property exploring if we want. I just called Budget today on our rental. They said today our price was good and that it was ok to use the travelocity code. So I signed up for fast break and heading to the garage and hoping for the best. We don't leave until may 27th. Worst case, if they don't honor it, I will take DME and get a rental with another company.

We used it in October with 0 problems and I have another reservation booked for December using it as well. With my coupon, my minivan rental for 12/1-12/7 will be $274. Hoping to find something a little lower, but not holding my breath.

I just used it for a mini van and the total cost was $359 for 8 days. I've seen it much higher, so I'm happy. I've never rented from Budget before, and I will be watching Alamo in hopes they can match or better it.
