Hello all! My family went to Universal both in Jan 2018, and Jan 2019. On our first trip at the boart pick up area at city walk we noticed a poor duck who had lost half his beak. The bottom half had been broken somehow and their tongue was constantly hanging out. Being the pragmatic father I was I told my kids that when something happens like that the animal likely would not survive, infections, trouble eating, etc. Regardless we all took a liking to them and named them bucky the ducky and pretty much saw that duck every day at the dock. When we went back in 2019 my daughter was reminiscing about our last trip and remembered Bucky. She said to me "wouldn't that be awesome if we saw him again!" I agreed that yet it would be awesome, but sorry, Bucky was probably dead. Well wouldn't you know it, our first day at the parks we're at the docks and here comes this duck waddling up with it's tongue hanging out the bottom of it's mouth. Bucky the ducky was a survivor! It's funny how little things like that can be so memorable, I just was looking over our photos from those trips and was reminded of Bucky and how much fun we had looking for him at the docks every day. We're going back in August of this year. The thing we are all most excited to see is Hagrids coaster of course. BUT, the second thing we'll be looking for is Bucky the ducky, crossing my fingers!
