BSOD Saturday 3/10/07

Anyone else... just when I thought I'd be able to get on for a few minutes and complete some trades...

sigh 17 minutes and still black screen

Yeah its really weird i have been trying for 18 minutes and have BSOD.. how long are we supposed to leave that screen up?

I was worried that was happening to me, but I let the black screen sit for a few minutes and I got in.

Now I know why I was able to get JC high scores 3 times, half the people are waiting to get in.

It took less than 10 minutes for mine to finally come on. Maybe 3-5 while I left it alone. No clicking anything while you are waiting for it to load.

Is this 'BSOD' the black screen of death not the blue one?

Cuz if it is, one of my accounts is getting it while trying to log on, and hence not able to log on, while my backup account is completely fine.

All my daughter & I get while trying to log on is a solid white screen. We've been having problems for days with our internet connection so I'm wondering if that could be the issue. Probably too late now to try to get into Out of the Jungle. *gives Comcast the icy glare of death*

I've had a white screen sometimes if I click to another window then go back to VMK. Try giving your computer a bit of time since VMK seems to be taking longer to load for people lately.
As far as Out of the Jungle is concerned, it's a teleporter game, so the line moves fairly quickly. Once you get into VMK you might want to try getting in line for it, there's a chance you might get in. If it was a race or spin game I wouldn't say that, but teleporter games tend to run more quickly than other games.

It took powering down both the modem & router for things to work now. My daughter's playing VMK right now & I'm able to web surf without the near constant errors we were receiving. I should remember to do that more often. I'd been dealing with the internet problems for close to a week now.

First I got the white screen saying the page was too busy, then after refreshing the page I got the Log In page. And there was the BSOD I waited awhile and then refreshed that page too and I got in that way.
