We are driving our daughter for the start of her disney college program in a month from western Pennsylvania.. I was thinking that around Brunswick would be a good stopping point on the way down. Any suggestions as to a good hotel??

Check Trip Advisor for Hotel ratings. It will be around a 13 hour drive for you, depending on the time you leave. I live about 1.5 hours south of you and made it to Savannah in 12 hours via the I-77 route. But I had a 5 yr old and a 12 yr old on board and had to make a few stops for potty breaks. Brunswick is about an hour south of Savannah

Hi there! I live about 30min from Brunswick. If you are looking to make a stop out of it, try looking into the Jekyll island area right around there. They have an awesome sea turtle rescue you can go see. Sorry no idea on hotel though I have never used one since I live close.

Brunswick is a great stop...if you are looking for cheap, clean and safe, there is a Sleep Inn and Suites right off the exit. We paid about $55 and it came with free breakfast. It wasn't fancy but we were just looking for a place to sleep. Staff was friendly, beds were comfy and room was super clean. :goodvibes

I just made the trip from Virginia and stopped in Santee, SC
I stayed at the Howard Johnson and paid $36 including breakfast. Was a good value, and only another 6.5 hours or so the next day
Not familiar with Brunswick, though :)

We always stay there on our way down from WV. We stay at the Fairfield Marriott and have stayed at the Colurtyard Marriott. Both are good choices but the Fairfield does offer breakfast. There is a great Mexican place down the road too...we always eat at Cilantros.
