Brunches at WDW

Any reasonable thoughts/ideas/rumors about when WDW might plan to bring back full breakfast/brunch buffet meals? Or is it more likely they will keep the AYCE meals at CP, Tusker House, H&V, Chef Mickey's, Cape Mayl and any of the other breakfast buffets? What about the buffet on Sunday morning at California Grill? These are among some our favorite meals and we are hoping they will be back by our next 2022 trip.

Cape May is returning or has to a buffet, at least that's the latest I read. Hollywood and Vine is already restored to character breakfast.

We're really missing CP breakfast... Also waiting on 1900 Park Faire to come back too.

Not a buffet but Grand Floridian Cafe has a 'brunch-esque' menu at breakfast.

We asked our CG waitress last week about brunch. She said she had no idea if/when it would return. She said when they did a staff survey they were all highly in favor of it but that doesn’t really mean much.

I would try Homecomin or Wine Bar George in DS. Might be a little more money, but worth it

I imagine the buffet situation has more to do with costs than health at this point. Some of them have started to return, but buffets have likely way more food waste which equates to cost savings if you are serving family style. I personally prefer buffets, and I feel like I may be in the minority there, but I'd guess it will be a while before they all return, if they even do.
