I'm telling you though . . . we've specifically been warned against this very thing at Service Unit meetings. If the troop IS the guest list, and if the invitation goes out at a troop meeting, it's really a troop event in everyone's eyes . . . even if you're calling it something else. Be careful. This could bring you big-time trouble.

Believe me, I went 10 rounds with council over horseback riding. I had a girl who did not wear pants for religious reasons and I had to jump thru plenty of hoops for that one.

However I am no longer a GS leader. I know you are saying this for the benefit of others and the OP.

Hopefully you look into the Safety Wise requirements OP and see how it matches up.
