Thurs, Nov 27

Decided to drive to Epcot for EE (early entry). We rented a stroller and waited for rope drop at 8am. Headed to Test Track with the throngs....Oh, no!!! TT was not running!!! No matter, we got fastpasses (for 10:00-11:00) and walked right on to Spaceship Earth. We hung out at Innoventions for a while and then headed to the Land pavilion. There was no one there!!!We rode Living with the Land, which Marcus pronounced to be his favorite ride. He is obsessed with plants... go figure... The two other kids in the boat had to be conned by their parents, "Oh, this is a very nice boat ride" .
On to Food Rocks. there were three families in there including us!!! For the rest of the trip we were plagued with questions like, "Is this healthy? Can I eat this?"

We were a little hungry so we got bagel at the Sunshine Season Food Fair , made a stop at Ice Station cool (love that Beverly)and then went back for our ride on TT!!! No wait!! Not bad for Thanksgiving... no waits so far... It was nearing 11am so on to the World Showcase. Marcus kept bugging us about going to the countries. He was sooo excited. We walked right on to Maelstrom, then Marcus had fun at the kidcot station. His mask was really amazing when it was all finished. I called my mom on her cell, since they were arriving today. Well, she informed me that she was in Epcot, over by the Christmas tree!!! About a five minute walk from where we were!!!

We walked next door to China and sat down to wait for the movie. In walks my mom and her DH. Marcus was so surprised. The movie was excellent!!!! We had a snack of eggrolls after (even Marcus tried it after we informed him that it was healthy) and we pressed on.... Germany... where DS continued to work on his mask while I stood in a very long line to get a hotdog for him.
On to Italy... and then on to the American Adventure-very nice film . Okay, next- Japan and Kaki Gori's. What is all the fuss? I didn't think it was all that great. It was a snow cone for heaven's sake! Our last stop of the day was Morocco. Marcus did so great at the World Showcase. He really loved it! We took the boat back to Future World and mom and Luc rode back to the WL with us (they had taken the bus over).

Mom's room was ready. She was upgraded to courtyard and had a nice view of the pool/lake. Both of our rooms were very convenient to the pool area. We all went down to the pool and had some yummy pina coladas.....

At about 5:15 we all met at the boat dock for our Thanksgiving dinner at Chef Mickey's. We waited for about ten minutes for a boat to the Contemporary. It took about five minutes to get there.

My opinion of the Contemporary... remember the post about the little girl who asked her mom if they were at the airport??? The pink walls at the check-in area and the CM's in purple jackets...well... just not my taste...

Anyway, we checked in 45 minutes early for our PS... we meandered over to the stores and DH went to the lounge (many games this past weekend) when my pager went off!!!! Like in five minutes!!! The buffet at Chef Mickey's was wonderful! The lobster bisque was yummy! Ditto for the cherry cobbler! The characters that came around were: Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, Chip, Dale and Donald was in the lobby. We had fun, but we were so tired!!! Back to the lodge and in bed by 8:30 once again.

By the way, I am totally spoiled at this point! Having turndown service was sooo nice!!!! Coming back to a nice clean bathroom , with clean towels and everything nice and neat, beds turned down, pillow chocolates, and our mousekeeper made a cute towel turkey for Thanksgiving. We actually had towel animals every day... a bunny, a dog and a penguin... she also arranged DS's stuffed animals (like eight of them) every day.

Day 3-

MGM, the Tower of Terror, Sci-Fi and Teppanyaki!
